Trip to Rievaulx Abbey was astonishing - a bright break in the gloomy deluge, with the valley so still. You could draw strength from the stones.
irisbleu has tidied up & posted a great selection of the photos already.

I'm too busy & too tired, but Scribbles is keeping me sane & somehow transmuting my Razor deadlines into retracting rubber knives.

I used to visit Rievaulx often...in the days before digital photography. Sadly, the negatives have gone missing. I guess I'll just use your pictures instead. :o)

That will give me an incentive to get some more posted after my current show finishes in a fortnight. It is a great place :-)
