That and I'm of the opinion that Paul was something of an ass *wry grin*

Oh, Paul was an ass, but not as much of an ass as some of his more devoted followers make out to be in English! (Also, if one gets rid of 1&2 Timothy and Titus as letters written by Paul - for which there are good arguments - he becomes he becomes at least a clever, snarky so-and-so who doesn't actually contradict himself!)

:-) I guess those are two more battlegrounds in the same long standing feud with the 'cast iron' brigade: why listen to Paul? + does the authorship of a book affect it's value
