Well the first major thing I've done this year has been to buy myself a new car. 2004 Toyota Corolla. I'd been getting by using a shared family car for the past few years, but it had to be done eventually. Its in good shape, though I'm still getting adjusted to it as each car feels a little different

That was pretty cool. It went better than most interviews I've read with Japanese VGM composers, and Maezawa seems like a pretty down to Earth dude. It was especially neat to learn that he invented the VRC6, and to catch his reaction to arrangements of his work.

I also liked seeing him reveal the reason why Parodius used a classical score. He just didn't have enough time to do a soundtrack. Heh. It ended up working out pretty well for that series.
