I think Peter can focus on farther distances all of a sudden. Yesterday he turned into cheery, happy boy. I woke up later than usual to find him cooing to himself next to me. I don't think he cried until many hours later. After dealing with persnickety crabby Pete for nearly seven weeks, this smiley kid threw me off. He did eventually get ( Read more... )

the newborn angst Peter was expressing toward the world has dissipated now that he's older and more mature.

So you're saying Peter is through listening to Nirvana and Eminem? :P

Laura says Raffi is a good outlet for the angst of the newborn set.

He's cooing because you give him Baby-Nip (it's like Cat Nip).

He is so adorable. We can't wait to see him in person.

I think I read somewhere that it was evolutionarily necessary for babies to be able to smile around 6 or 7 weeks of age.
Why does that make me chuckle? It probably shouldn't :)
