Single parents are amazing

Dan spent last night puking and today sleeping, leaving me with 24 hours of fulltime Peter care and yikes, I'm glad I don't do that often. I had to do the 4am diaper change in addition to all the feedings, and it is so much easier to just stay in bed feeding him. We're at the point where he probably nurses 4 times but only gets changed once or ( Read more... )

Very cute!

Wow, this is the first time I realized how much he looks like you guys. My first reaction was that he totally has Dan's eyes. Am I right?

Not sure if you have heard, but Lucy's boyfriend loser-Burnell left her a month or two ago right after she found out she's pregnant again. Now she's a pregnant single mom with a two-year-old. I can't even imagine what that must be like and never ever want to be there myself.

To all the boys out there: what is it about our society that makes most women react responsibly and feel an overwhelming need to protect their children and a whole crapload of men react like sperm banks who don't really give a damn? Please don't think I'm stereotyping all men, I'm just reacting to the numbers and I'm curious where this mentality comes from.

Anyway, there's my rant about the evils of single parenthood. I don't think I'll ever tire of listening to your baby stories so feel free to post as many as you want.

We should have all women armies. Women are like nurturing... men in armies are just boys with guns that turn on civilians during time of peace.

Yeah, and then the deadbeat dads would be like history and stuff. Maybe that's what Leto had it mind. He was just trying to save the concept of family!

Heh, I think he has my eyes and Dan's chin, but that's all I can distinguish. When you pair up two Scandinavians, it's hard to tell what came from who :)

Oh DEAR...that doesn't sound fun at all...I'm bringing my car up tomorrow to have it checked out because of the fender bender I had the other day, want some company at some point? I'll call tonight...my real point in posting was this recent blurb in Midwifery Today ( ... )
