He's on the move

Peter must have decided to see how many milestones he could hit this past weekend. On Friday, he stood by my parents' coffee table for around 20 seconds a couple times. Then he did it again yesterday. On Monday, he sat in the grass for at least 30 seconds without falling over. If I put him in my lap, he'll sit quite a while. Today, he rolled ( Read more... )

Isn't he really young to be standing up? Of course, I don't know when babies on average stand, but I was assuming it was later. Perhaps you just have a super-muscular baby. ;)

Yeah, he's pretty young, but he's a long way from standing unsupported or cruising furniture. He just has stong enough limbs to support himself at an appropriately sized piece of furniture for a bit.

His all-time favorite activity is being held upright while he bounces, so it doesn't surprise me that his legs are pretty strong.

Both my dad and I stood for several minutes at coffee tables at 4 months, so Peter's trying to keep up the tradition.

Okay, that boy is growing up TOO FAST! You need to tell him to slow down and be a baby for a while yet! LOL

Grace sat up at four months, but she didn't roll from back to front until she started crawling. She hated tummy time...

You've got quite the chunk of a baby there! Excellent!

I'm with you there! He's free to slow down any time now. He's not a big fan of tummy time--he gets upset when he realizes he's flipped.

I had to buy large cloth diapers by 3 1/2 months--completely insane. I never had time to buy smalls.

Hope you don't mind my adding you--saw you over at
