He's crawling

Peter figured out how to crawl yesterday.  He's been rocking back and forth and kicking his feet around for weeks now, but he was finally inspired to reach out and pull his body forward.  He promptly began chewing a lamp cord and trying to eat a plastic bag.  We need to do some babyproofing around here.  He stands up all the time, too (with the

baby proofing from everything under 1 foot has been upgraded to everything under 3 feet ;)

He thinks it's a fun game to climb up us (if we're sitting on the floor, he can crawl up my torso and reach the couch). Methinks 3' won't be enough.

Why do they like to eat all the dangerous things? Toys designed for chewing are just so boring I guess.

Wow, I wonder if Peter will walk before Samuel. That would be something but I think it could happen. Samuel likes to pull up on things but he's pretty enamored with crawling around.

I think those "extra" days with mommy are what made Peter so advanced :D Probably not what you want to hear

Today he was trying to crawl up on all fours. I guess the army crawl is getting old already. He's still happiest standing up, though. Apparently, Dan cruised starting at 7 months, but was too scared to walk until after a year. I have the feeling we won't be experiencing that with Peter.
