This is getting fun!

Being with Peter is becoming an adventure. Now that he can wander around, he has explored every nook and cranny less than 3 feet from the floor. He tried scaling the stairs today, but couldn't figure out how to pull himself up yet. We threw out half our house plants and put the others up as high as we could. I imagine they'll die soon since ( Read more... )

Heh heh, Peter's like the bunnies---they love eating old leaves, too. I read a recent post in eyelid where she talked about how her baby is chewing on books that he seems kind of like a pet. I guess Peter's like that, too. ;)

Dan occasionally snaps his fingers if he wants Peter to look in a particular direction--definitely pet-like.

Do your bunnies cackle, though? I can't think of any pets with that trait.

Maybe if I had pet hyenas they'd cackle. ;) The bunnies don't really make any noises, though occasionally Mindy will growl at us. Hopefully Peter doesn't do that to you!

Oh my gosh, I am so happy for you. Peter is so cute. I have a 10 month old little girl, Belle. She's so awesome. I just found this website, I love it. Do you really read these? Karenmaxwell6@hotmail.com

for texture and variety you just can't beat old leaves :P

Samuel has recently found a new source of tasty things. He now checks the bottom of my shoes. (hmmm, perhaps the pet analogy isn't too far off)

Does Peter enjoy pulling out the grass in your yard? At the park on Monday, S seemed determined to yank all the grass out by the roots. He created a few bare clumps before we left.

Oh yuck! Shoes?! Mothering a boy is going to be interesting, isn't it?

Peter pulls up grass, but after he's got a handful, he slows down, so no bare spots yet. If he starts that, I'll just put him in the middle of our creeping charlie and see how fast he can get rid of it.

If you have the need to get rid of any more plants, let me know and I'll foster them for you. And when he's old enough that you can have a normal plant relationship again, I'm sure I'll still have plenty purple hearts to spare. They grow like weeds. Almost everyone I know has one already. ;-)
