"I can truthfully say I did no such thing."

No other statement has ever meant so much, and, yet, been so enigmatic at the same time.
Time to think. Time to make plans. Time to find myself again. Time to stop being what everyone else wanted me to be.

Sounds like some intellectual way of saying, "wasn't me!", though trifling better than the boroque, "It's beyond my control."

Ah the stories that can be wove in the imagination from a sentence such as that.

Tell me was this statement preceded or followed by a sentence such as "we need to talk" or "there's something I haven't told you"?

Hmmm, yeah, something like that. actually, i don't remember exactly what it was preceeded by...it was in the journal of a friend of mine...and it was followed by absolutely nothing.

It was just a kind of enlightening statement.

By the way, what are you still doing up this late? I"m an insomniac, so i have an excuse.

I wasn't feeling well yesterday, and slept most of the day away, course that means I am up late at night therefore. I have friends coming in from out of town this weekend, and I also wanted to clean my place up while I had the chance, too much single living makes for a messy place sometimes. Thank god Nessie puts up with me, just the two of us.

Last thought about the statement from a wiser source than I:

"That statement is either so deep it would take a lifetime to fully comprehend every particle of its meaning, or it is a load of absolute tosh. Which is it, I wonder?"

well, first of all, i hope you're feeling better. Second, who the heck is Nessie (i'm out of the loop)? and finally, thank you for being you. No one else could have provided so absolutely appropriate a last thought. you rock.
