WooHoo! Just a couple more weeks until DragonCon! Now I just have to make it through non-stop work until then, as well as starting back to school next week. Wow. Busy busy busy.

Well, I finally made it to the ASU campus yesterday, talked to my advisor, and got my student id. It's official. I start back to classes in about 3 weeks (just i time to tell them I'll be gone for a week while I'm back east for DragonCon :o) ). It feels really good to be going back to school. The registrar's office finally got the last of my paperwork! Woot! This means that my application is FINALLY being reviewed, and I should be able to start back to school next month. Not much going on here lately. Work work work. Counting down the days until DragonCon. Oh, and I got a new puppy. I'll have to post a picture of him later. I miss all of my friends!

Dear GOD! Would someone PLEASE take me some place civilized to eat during DragonCon...preferably something foreign? I'm dying of culinary boredom! All of my attempts to go somewhere different and have a pleasant meal have been thwarted by the "i eat steak and poatoes, and everything else is gross" nazi. AAAAAHHHHHHHHH! That is all.

I stayed home from work today so I could go to the doctor. It appears I DID get bitten multiple times by something, most likely, of the eight-legged variety. Ick! So, I bought a new vacuum and mailed my visa bill and lounged around in my (rather cute) underwear, reading about human evolutionary theories from 1930 to 1961. I'm such a dork. This past weekend, everyone in my house went to Renaissance in the Pines up in Flagstaff, AZ. It's a very small faire that only lasts one weekend a year, but we had a good time. Yep, the rumors are true. In about 6 weeks I'll be driving to Arizona to look for a house, then moving out there right after Christmas. This is going to be a long-term move (going back to school and moving on with my life), so I don't know how often I'll make it back here.
