The historical reality is that the Mensheviks believed themselves the “moderate” wing of the revolution, at times committed even to legal norms. By 1917, the smash-and-grab Bolsheviks had pushed out the Mensheviks, who faded into history, or worse.

Here in the U.S., events have made it impossible not to notice the internecine struggle taking place inside the Democratic Party. Forget Republicans. The Democratic left’s most aggressive, often consciously destructive strategies are overwhelmingly attacks on liberal cities and institutions.

Историю КПСС сдавал, но в одно ухо влетело и не остановилось в голове.

Я не сдавал, переписал чей-то реферат и получил автоматом. Так практически вся группа получила, то же самое было с политэкономией и научным коммунизмом. А с философией так не прошло, два раза сдавал какому-то сапогу, пришедшему к нам из военной академии.
