so you obviously met me when I brought music on midnight mass but I don't remember specifically meeting you... I see you're a linguogeek though and you also have Sonja on your friends list (presumably the Esperanto connection?) :) I knew her from back in Toronto. Anyway hello!

I don't speak Esperanto but it would be fun one day.

I was wearing a black hat and riding a silver bike. We chatted a bit about bringing music along while riding. I mentioned that I had tried it during one Midnight Mass using foldable iPod speakers. I was one of the three guys on your right when you came to sit on the grass on the hill in the park. My friend Jamie was the one who asked you to turn off the music (and then wondered if he had come across as rude). :) In fact, we'd met briefly before this week as well.

Very cool that you know Sonja. Small world! Yes, I met her through Esperanto years ago. I saw her over the holidays in Germany where we were both attending an Esperanto youth seminar.

Hope to see you again on a ride in the near future!

Ahhh okay. Well I still can't place your face cause it's dark, but naw, he didn't come across as rude. And I've met Jamie before a few times anyway - very nice guy.

you're friended. I apologize that not all of my entires are particularly perky lately but hey, I am who I am =)

Incidentally there are some Chapmans who married into one of my cousin-families... I know it's a super-common name, but if you happen to be related in any way to a Harold Chapman who married a Mary Klarer (probably in Toronto, Ottawa or Montreal), then we have family in common.

Hm, I'm not aware of that branch of the Chapman clan, but maybe there's a distant relation there somewhere...
