My only advice for the situation with your aunt... (as someone who's had her share of serious troubles)...
One step at a time, one moment at a time. People will try to help and offer condolences/comfort, but because they too haven't been thru it, they might fumble. Accept the attempt, forgive the fumble. I found those who fumbled more genuine than those who offered pat cliches.
For yourself, if you're close with her, spend time with her. Find some way that is comfortable for both of you to say goodbye. You won't regret the tears, you'll regret not trying.
As for everything else, I'm glad life seems to be going okay for you. Other than the burnout at work. Perhaps taking as much as you can out of your paycheck into a supplies fund? So that you can follow thru with your enjoyment of band photography.
