“Then how about this?” Jin interfered with a silly grin. “One of us says what he wants to do and those who approve and feel that they want the same, will have to take a shot. It’s the quickest way to get drunk.” he laughed after, glancing at Kazuya without being noticed. Oh, he was going to love it if Kazuya would get drunk this night. After all, drunk people are the most honest, right?
Everyone thought for a couple of minutes, glancing at each other before quadrupled wicked grins appeared on their faces. Kazuya wished he’d vanish, seeing the approval before it was voiced out.
“Then what are we waiting for?!” Junno and Koki flared up, thrusting their fists into air. “Let the booze pour~” they added in a sing-song, making the others laugh.
“I think they’re drunk even before we’ve started.” Maru snickered with Ueda who looked at Jin and asked: “We go with vodka? Or order something else?”
“Vodka is the best!” he responded with his thumb up, grinning because it was his favorite drink and he had the most resistance with vodka.
Kazuya groaned unheard in the medieval atmosphere. This night was going to become another one of his nightmares. But he supposed that it was better than to be alone with Jin and God knows what he would have to do. He tried to smile more, only laughing genuinely when his friends fooled around.
“Now…” Ueda said, their glasses filled with vodka. “Who wants to go first?”
Kazuya prayed it wasn’t Jin. But who else than the devil itself? Jin was the first one to raise his hand, waving like an excited child. ”I want, I want!” he repeated even if it wasn’t necessary. “I want…” he glanced at Kazuya and a dirty smiled appeared on his lips. “… to set a record of the most time spent kissing!“ he said, drowning his glass of vodka.
Kazuya sighed relieved but didn’t drink. He didn’t have such desire, but as he looked at his friends they all seemed to want to do so, now their glasses empty. “Do you guys want to get drunk that badly?” he asked maliciously, earning himself four glares.
"Kazu is next!" Jin chirped happily, while taking another shot, just for the heck of it and staring into the younger's brown orbs. The boy looked taken aback while the rest were anxiously waiting for his question. Damn you, Jin! He wanted to say but instead he thought for a bit.
“I want to be always free.” He said, gulping down his glass. It was a silly question but it was his most hidden and burning desire. Koki and Maru took their shots too, Ueda and Junno not, while Jin stared a few moments at Kazuya.
“Cheers for that.” he finally said, smiling a little while lifting his glass and gulping it down like the younger did. Of course he knew his hidden desire, but Jin couldn’t do a thing about that. Why couldn’t he understand? Why was Kazuya so stubborn and didn’t realize that Jin means no harm with his actions? He will just have to show him his good intentions, Jin thought, but kept his thoughts hidden under a mask of cheerfulness. “Ueda’s next!” he sang happily, looking at the man with expecting eyes. Did nobody have whishes more entertaining?
“I want to…” Ueda began, biting his tongue thoughtfully. “… to have sex in a public place!”
Koki and Junno laughed and drank their shots. They were prone to getting drunk quicker than the others. Maru blushed a little but lifted his glass too, gulping down the burning drink. Kazuya kept silent and not touching his glass. He had enough sex for a lifetime!
“Eeeh? Kazu, you don’t want to have sex in a public place?” Jin pouted but still not forgetting to drink his shot. “You’re the only one…” he pointed out knowingly.
Kazuya blushed under their stares and really wanted to kill Jin for that. “He’s always like that.” Koki interfered, chuckling a little. “You’d think he’s a shy girl or something, but there’s definitely more under his shell, right, Kazuya?” his friend looked at him with a wicked smile.
Now Kazuya wanted to kill Koki too.
“Baaaldie, don’t tease our Kame-chan.” Junno clung onto Koki. “He’s a romantic, after all, nee?” he turned his grinning face to Kazuya who was now the same color as a tomato. The youngest simply nodded, ignoring the rest of their questions.
“I believe Koki’s next.” Ueda interfered, saving him the shame to be more teased.
“Oh, yeaaaah!” his eyes shined maliciously. “I want to watch my girlfriend while doing herself.”
Maru and Junno refused to drink while he and Ueda gulped down the vodka. Kazuya again won’t touch the glass and Jin followed his example. “Been there, done that.” he grinned and looked at Kazuya, as if implying he had something to do with that.
The boys at the table gaped and wow-ed him, not noticing Jin’s look towards the younger. “How did it feel?” Koki asked earnestly while the others watched him with interest. Kazuya was too ashamed to say anything and almost wanted to gulp down the bottle, feeling that a shot won’t make him forget the shame.
“It was the most amazing thing ever!” Jin laughed, pleased by their reactions. “It was hot and it made me feel like coming even without touching myself. How she sucked her fingers so slowly that it made me mad… how she caressed her body, played with her breasts and moaned harder at every touch… how she entered her fingers in that tight hole while I was watching intensively every move… She fucked herself with a dildo.” he then shrugged, glancing again at Kazuya, how he had done the whole time he talked even if he seemed to concentrate his attention to the others. “And then I fucked her with the dildo in.” he smirked, now obviously looking at the younger.
“Wow!” Koki exclaimed, clapping his hands. “I almost got hard just imagining.” He laughed, noticing now the glances Jin had been throwing to a more and more red faced Kazuya. The boys were in awe too, Maru too shocked to even blink.
“You’re into rough sex, I get it?” Ueda asked leaning back and thinking about what he heard. He’d definitely want to try that.
“Just sometimes.” Jin casually replied, now looking at Ueda. “If the person can make me hard enough. It’s their fault, not mine!” he whined, raising his hands and trying to defend himself, even if the stupid grin was still dancing on his face.
“It’s your fault for being that horny.” Kazuya finally said something, scoffing a little. “And you two…” he glared at Ueda and Koki. “… don’t congratulate him, who knows what he’ll do next to the poor girl.”
The boys just laughed at Kazuya’s serious face, advising him that he should forget about the school and get laid more often. “You’re too uptight, turtle.” Ueda grinned at him stupidly.
“He’s definitely tight.” Jin murmured under his breath, satisfied that no one could hear him because of the music. “Next question!” he then said, looking at Junno, expecting a dumb question considering his personality.
“Me?” Junno asked surprised. “Eee… I want to… do it from the back.” He said quickly and drank his shot. “You know… anal.” He then added with a sheepish grin.
Again, all of them drank except for Kazuya who nearly wanted to vanish on the spot. Why did everyone keep on talking by such fetishes?! Couldn’t they ask more normal questions? Really, you would think that they were on dry land for years.
“It’s tighter this way.” Jin said like he was an expert on this matter.
“I agree.” They heard a small voice shocking everyone from the table.
“Yuu-chan, have you done it this way?!” Koki and Junno rounded on him, while Ueda and Kazuya gaped. The man agreed silently, his cheeks burning. They whistled surprised at their friend’s hidden activities. Three of them thought they should play this game more, they found out interesting things.
“Then… I’m next, right?” Maru said trying to clear the awed atmosphere. “I want to… to use bondage.”
Again all of them drank, including Kazuya too, this way everyone shifting their attention on him.
“Really?” Jin raised an eyebrow at him. “Bet you want to tie and not to be tied up.” he scoffed, not looking at Kazuya but at the wall behind him. “Or have you been tied up?” Jin asked with a sweet voice, implying that he could take care of that if he didn’t. Or even if he did.
“I prefer to tie up. Especially when they’re burning with desire and want to be filled more than ever.” Kazuya replied with a superior grin, remembering the club’s bathroom scene. The boys chuckled at the pervert Kazuya that was finally showing off.
“You’re more the type to seduce and tie up when the other one isn’t paying attention.” Jin rolled his eyes, the scene with him being bonded, with a hard on and alone being more vivid in his mind. Mostly the last part. “You’ll hurt someone this way, Kazu-chan.” he smiled innocently. “The poor girl…” he shook his head, like he was taking the side of that invisible girl.
“You’re the one to talk.” Kazuya retorted, now the scene with the dildo present in his mind. “Unlike you, I’m gentle; I’ll never hurt a girl.” He emphasized the last word, wanting to let Jin know that this time he was talking about a real girl and not him.
“Now, now, don’t start and quarrel like a couple.” Ueda interfered, smirking when Kazuya turned to snap at him only to stop that with one finger pressed against his lips. “Shush, turtle, let Jin put his next question.” He turned his attention to the other. “Add more fire, Jin. We’re not heated up at all.”
Exactly more fire wanted Jin to add, but his focus was only one person. “I want to fuck someone until that person can’t stand still on their legs anymore.” he drank his shot, his gaze concentrated on Kazuya after throwing daggers with his eyes at Ueda. That bastard dared to touch Kazuya!! His Kazuya!
Not quite happy about this, Kazuya avoided Jin’s eyes and didn’t drink. The boys looked a bit surprised as they heard this wish, unsure of how should they react to the hard tone Jin had used.
“Not quite my thing, but what the hell.” Koki said and drank his shot, quickly followed by Ueda. Junno and Maru didn’t touch their glasses.
“Gotta go to the bathroom.” Kazuya said suddenly, rising from the table without any other word. He might’ve seemed rude right now, but he needed a place to calm down, at least until he felt ready to go back and face Jin and his stupid ‘I want…’ game! He opened the bathroom’s door and thanked God that there was no one there. He went to the sink and splashed some water on his face, trying to make it more animated. Maybe he should have drunk the vodka, but then he would get drunk and God knows where he’ll end up. Kazuya couldn’t understand why Jin looked like that the last time and said such a thing in front of his friends. He heard the door being opened and quickly took a paper towel to hide his face.
“Are you okay, Kazuya?” he heard Koki’s voice and Kazuya looked at him, surprised.
“Yeah.” He replied and tossed the wet paper into the waste bin.
“Sure? You look a bit pale.” Koki insisted and Kazuya frowned.
“Yes. I’m usually pale, Koki, you should know it.”
His friend didn’t say anything and kept staring at him until Kazuya began to fidget, annoyed by this heavy atmosphere. He felt that Koki had something on his mind and the more he prolonged his questions, the more it annoyed Kazuya.
“Just say it already!” he suddenly burst, making the man jolt a little.
“Who’s in reality Jin?” came the question that didn’t quite surprise the younger. He was expecting it.
“A friend.”
“You’re lying.” Koki accused, approaching Kazuya. The boy didn’t move an inch, holding his gaze. “Is he your dealer?” At this question, the younger narrowed his eyes disdainfully.
“Is that what you think of me lately?” he asked scornfully.
“No.” came the simple answer. “I want to believe in you.” He then added, as Kazuya’s tough attitude wavered a little.
“You know I don’t like questions, Koki.” He sighed, letting his head down.
“I know, but I can’t help asking myself if you’re okay or if you’re not involved once more in some shitty things.” The man was standing right in front of him, his hand gripping gently Kazuya’s shoulder.
“I’m not.” Kazuya answered, not lifting his eyes.
“There you go. Lying to me.” The other one sighed, cupping his friend’s chin and forcing him to look at him. “I might pretend I’m blind and deaf, but it’s not like I don’t see how Jin’s throwing you… that look.” He felt Kazuya tensing. “What are you doing with him?” he asked when instead he wanted to ask ‘what are you doing for him?’ but he wouldn’t do it.
Kazuya wanted to say something, but his friend’s honest eyes wouldn’t let him to do so. If he told Koki what was really between him and Jin, then he would get angry and maybe start a fight with the other one and this was something Kazuya was trying to avoid. And who knows what Jin would do to Koki… no, he wouldn’t think about such things. He isn’t doing anything wrong, he just agreed to Jin to steal his freedom. That’s all. But such words won’t come out of his mouth at all.
“Am I disturbing something?” Jin’s cold voice tore apart the silence between the two friends. He was standing in the door’s frame with a murderous expression on his face. And he was pissed. No, he was more than pissed, he was so angry that he could kill someone only with his eyes! He had been worried because Kazuya was gone for too long and even if he knew that his friend is with him, he couldn’t stop thinking that something had happened to him. After all, Kazuya had the habit to forget to get out of the bathroom.
But all his worries had flown out the window when he entered the bathroom and saw Koki standing so close to Kazuya. If he had wanted to bury Ueda just because he had touched Kazuya, Jin couldn’t even decide on the best punishment to deliver to Koki for what he had done. But he had some ideas and all of them started with ripping off Koki’s hand from Kazuya’s face.
“Yes, you’re disturbing.” Koki replied lazily, the alcohol confusing his sense of danger ahead.
Okay, now he had the perfect vision of Koki’s death in his mind. Jin walked into the bathroom, letting the door to slam behind him. He took small steps, trying to control himself because even he knew that he can’t kill someone in a pub and get away with it. He could do it later, but not before making Koki to remember his name his whole life. Eventually, he stopped next to them, his eyes fixed to Koki’s hand. “Let go of him.” he hissed with a dangerous tone and with burning eyes.
Kazuya looked quickly at Jin, noticing that the man was having one of his madness moments. He grabbed onto Koki’s hand and made him let it down, although he sensed the other’s resistance. Koki wanted to say something but one look at Kazuya made him to stay silent and to sulk a little. He mused upon Jin’s reaction seeing how the turtle turned to him, forcing him to give his fully attention.
“He’s my friend.” Kazuya said through gritted teeth. “He’s okay, you know, just worried about me as you are.” He added, hoping to remind Jin what he had said that night. That being with his friends was alright.
“And why should he be worried about you?” Jin asked, not removing his gaze from Koki.
Kazuya stepped into his vision, blocking his view of Koki. He signaled the other through his back to leave and for a moment he held his breath as if he expected Koki to do otherwise. To his relief, the man listened to him and left the bathroom, with questions popping in his head, questions that he’ll ask Kazuya as soon as he’ll corner him. This thing with Jin smelled way too fishy.
“You’re a total asshole!” Kazuya spat as soon as the door closed behind Koki. “You can’t show up out of nowhere and try to shoo my friends just because they are worried about me! At least, they are considerate of what or how I’m feeling!” he added, glaring at the older man.
“So what? Now I’m the insensible bastard?” he raised his voice, flapping his arms and narrowing his eyes to look at Kazuya.
“Not now. Always.” He snapped back, snarling. “And why are you here anyway?”
“Because I was worried!” Jin continued to raise his voice, now pacing through the bathroom and looking like a madman. “You weren’t coming back so I wanted to check up on you, only to find that baldie all over you!!” he hissed, more and more anger building up in him.
Kazuya rolled his eyes in exasperation. “Oh, God! Can you imagine?” he said ironically, not caring a bit of Jin’s anger. “And Koki wasn’t all over me, just for your info. It was just you seeing stupid things!”
“Well, it surely didn’t look like that from where I was standing.” Jin stopped in front of Kazuya, crossing his arms and observing him with his eyes like he wanted to go deep inside him and find out the truth.
“With your imagination, I’m surprised you didn’t see us making out or standing naked while having a friendly conversation.” Kazuya scoffed disdainfully. “What else are you seeing, Jin? Do you see me doing it with Maru or Junno? Do you see Ueda topping me?” he paused a little before he shouted. “DO YOU SEE ME FUCKING WITH EVERYBODY?!?”
“YES!!” Jin responded on the same tone, now really snapping. “You’re a whore, Kazuya.” he continued with a calmer voice, even if the irritation was still present in it, mocking the younger. “What should I expect from you?”
And that had done it. Kazuya hit Jin with all his might, his fist hurting where it had met the jaw. Kazuya stood still as he was panting, his vision blurred by unexpected tears. He blinked a few times to make them disappear but still lingered on his eyelashes. “Fuck off.” He said with a restraining voice. “Get out of here!!”
Jin didn’t move. He stood there, looking at Kazuya and starting to feel sorry for what he had said. But it was the truth, goddamit! Who could blame Jin when he knew that Kazuya had the habit to change his man every time? He never slept with the same guy twice, he said it himself! So why was he the bad guy again?
He winced, the spot where Kazuya had hit him being awfully painful but Jin ignored it and gulped. He looked at the boy and saw him fighting back tears. He had really messed up, hadn’t he?
“Kazuya…” he tried to approach the younger, being careful to not piss off Kazuya again.
“Don’t come any closer or I’ll hit you again.” The younger said, passing a brushing hand over his cheek, displeased to find it wet. “Just leave me alone. Go back to the guys, I’ll follow immediately.” He continued, wondering why it hurt.
“No.” Jin chose to be stubborn and continued to get close to Kazuya. “If you want to hit me, then do it, but I’m not leaving.” he said with a determined voice. “Please, Kazuya.” he begged, slowly raising his hand and putting it on the boy’s shoulder.
Of course Kazuya wouldn’t hit a second time, violence wasn’t his solution. He didn’t flinch or jumped when Jin touched him, but neither did he do anything about it. Kazuya looked at the opposite wall, not wanting to see Jin anymore. He felt hurt and humiliated. Maybe he had slept with a few guys, but that didn’t make him a whore and he definitely wasn’t going to sleep with his close friends. Jin didn’t know what it felt like when you had nothing to cling on, when it was just you alone against the others. He didn’t have the right to judge Kazuya by his actions, he didn’t have any right at all. He bit on his lower lip, thinking over and over again at the past events. He wanted to hide away and cry just like the little child from the darkest place in his heart. The child that kept on haunting him in his nightmares. He wasn’t a crybaby and he wasn’t weak.
It was the child and the vodka. That was all there it was.
The door opened once more and a half-drunk Junno entered the bathroom, grinning to both of them. Kazuya wiped his tears quickly, hoping that his teary eyes won’t be seen by his friend. He turned to him with a weak smile.
“What’s wrong, Junno?”
“I came after youuuu~” said the tall man, obviously not sensing the weird atmosphere between Jin and Kazuya. “You were gone for too long and we got boooored.” He added, whining a little. “You don’t want to leave, do you?” he then asked with round puppy eyes, begging not to do so.
“No, of course not.” Kazuya smiled. “I’m coming up immediately, just to wash my face a little, okay?” he added, turning to the sink. “You can take Jin up with you.”
“It’s okay, I’ll stick with Kazuya.” Jin hurried to answer before Junno could say anything. He saw the tall man nodding and exiting the bathroom while singing. Jin turned once again to the boy, repeating what he had said earlier: “Kazuya, please.” He looked at the boy through the mirror.
Kazuya ignored him and turned on the tap. He felt the icy-cold water hitting his fingers before he gathered some in his palm to splash it over his face. It felt refreshing, but it didn’t ease the pain that was stuck into his heart just like a rose’s thorn. Beautifully carving into him, making him realize even more the hollow of his self. He took some paper towel and wiped the water of his face. He turned to Jin and looked at him in the eyes.
“I don’t want to hear anymore ‘pleases’. You don’t know its meaning.” He said with a cold and harsh tone. If he was hurt, then he wasn’t going to show it. Those tears hadn’t been his.
“Then what do you want me to do for you to forgive me?” he asked, his tone a little bit higher than normal. “I don’t want you to hate me, I don’t want you to go away.” Jin now begged, whining like a child. He approached Kazuya again and before he could say anything, Jin wrapped his arms around him, trapping him into his embrace. “I know that I’m stupid and I always jump too fast to conclusions, but please don’t be mad at me. Please.”
Nothing. It’s too late, I already hate you. It’s not like I can walk away as simply as you state it. Yes, you’re stupid, very, very stupid. I’m not mad at you, I’m dead furious at you. Again, don’t ‘please’ me.
All of these answers Kazuya could’ve offered because he thought them immediately as he heard Jin, but he didn’t do it. “I’m not mad. I’ll be fine, just let me be.” He simply stated, a partial truth that even he was kind of distrustful when it came to it. He didn’t struggle out of Jin’s arms, but he wasn’t particular fond of having them around him. It made him feel secure and trapped. He began to hate both of these feelings.
“We should go, they’re waiting for us.” He said plainly.
“Are we really okay?” Jin asked, cupping Kazuya’s face and looking into his brown eyes.
No, we’re not. We’ll never be. “Yes.” Kazuya replied, his eyes two dark and closed windows. “We’re okay.” A lie he said to himself too.
But Jin still didn’t seem to trust Kazuya’s words so he leaned over, catching his lips into a slow kiss, without using his tongue and waiting for the younger to respond. Kazuya let himself be kissed, enjoying and despising the soft brush of the lips against his, of the gentleness behind them. He kissed back, with a coyness he didn’t know he possessed. He pressed his palms against Jin’s chest as for support while his lips parted and kissed briefly Jin’s. He then nibbled on the lower lip, holding a bit onto it before letting it go and ending their non-French kiss with a cast one.
“Have I passed the test?” Kazuya asked, looking straight into his eyes. After all, he knew all along that Jin had been testing him through that kiss.
Somehow, Jin felt the need to hit Kazuya in that moment. He fought against his urge and silently sighed. Without replying, he took Kazuya’s hand and dragged the boy after him. As soon as they exited the bathroom, Jin’s broody expression changed to a cheerful one and he pulled the younger next to him, leaving his arm on his waist and making his way through the crowd to get to their table. As they approached the boys, Kazuya slipped away from Jin and flopped down next to Ueda who eyed him questioningly. Kazuya shrugged and grinned happy.
There would be no more questions tonight, Kazuya decided, as he gulped down some vodka straight from the bottle. He was planning on getting drunk.
After more than three hours, all six of them were drunk enough to see fairies, especially as Ueda liked to say so from time to time while daydreaming. Their game had gotten even dirtier with each shot they took, their ‘I want’ becoming even more unreasonable. Kazuya would laugh from time to time, mostly because of the alcohol that invaded his system than of amusement. Junno almost fell over the table if Koki hadn’t gotten him and Maru would have fallen asleep if Jin hadn’t whacked him on the head. They were dead-drunk but still no one would get up from the table and say he’s going home. It was like they wanted to be wasted until they knew nothing of them and surely, Kazuya felt that way as he lifted the glass once more to his lips and drank generously.
“I want to take part in an orgy!” Jin stated with a glazed look on his face.
Everyone cheered and took their shots, while Koki with a big grin on his face he said: “Girls included, right?” Junno laughed loudly as if the word ‘girls’ had been a trigger for this.
“I can do both.” Jin grinned sheepishly pouring more booze into the glasses, unaware of the double-crossed stare of the other drunken guys. Kazuya hit him under the table.
“He’s drunk. Soon he’ll say he’s Jesus!” Kazuya interfered, forcing a laugh and soon everyone joined him. Even if he had been drinking a lot and his mind was soaped with alcohol that didn’t mean that he had not been watching Jin and his behavior. After all, if the drunken jerk said something of what kind of relationship they’re sharing, Kazuya wasn’t sure that tomorrow the boys’ memory would be cleansed as the alcohol wears off, not remembering much from last events.
“What?” Jin defended himself, lifting his arms in protest. “It’s a crime if I fuck guys too?” he shrugged, not really caring of what he’s saying anymore. He never wanted to hide this fact and it’s not like it meant that it has something to do with Kazuya, so why was the younger one getting so upset and kicking him?
“No, but it will be one right now if you keep on saying such things~” Kazuya sing-song with a deathly glare, ignoring the other’s drunk curious looks.
“Whyyyy?” Jin whined, throwing his hands in the air. “You’re discriminating bisexual people!” he then accused with a determined tone. He stopped for a moment and covered his mouth with his hand, looking shocked. He crossed his arms in front of his chest, like he was thinking deeply at something really important. “Or are you jealous?” he asked with an innocent voice, looking at Kazuya with puppy eyes. A drunk puppy.
“Jealous?” Kazuya scoffed. “Of whom? Of your invisible boyfriends?” he continued, taking another shot. “And why would I be jealous?!” he then asked bewildered.
“I don’t know…” Jin slowly answered, his thinking expression already back. “Maybe you wanted to do it with me and didn’t have the guts to tell me? Cause I surely remember a time when…”
“… when I wanted to kill you for taking me as a girl!” Kazuya quickly interrupted, hitting him one more time under table, though out of mistake, he hit Maru too who yelped discontented. “Sorry.” He said quickly, his already flushed cheeks turning even redder.
“Really?” Jin asked disdainfully. “I don’t remember it that way…”
“It’d better be that way or I’ll make you see it.” Kazuya muttered under his breath but no one heard him. “Neeeext question!” he suddenly shouted, ignoring Jin’s last remark.
“I want to see Kazuya cross-dressing!” Jin suddenly said, raising his glass up in the air and drinking it after.
The younger rose a bit and gave Jin a whack on the head making the others laugh but he suddenly stopped when they all lifted their glasses and drank its content. Kazuya gaped at them and all he received was stupid and guilty looks accompanied by smirks.
“Like I’d ever do something like that!” he snorted, sitting back and glaring at Jin. It’s all your fault, he mouthed displeased, but Jin just grinned at him.
“I want to do a threesome in an elevator.” Ueda said suddenly waving his glass before turning all of its content inside his wide opened mouth. “Don’t mind if it’s two guys and a girl or two girls and me.” He added, a wicked gleam in his eyes.
“With two girls I’m in.” Koki said and drank, Kazuya quickly following him laughing.
“I agree on that with you.” He said smiling all happy and looking questioningly at Junno and Maru who were looking shocked at Ueda. He ignored Jin who was now throwing daggers at him.
“I’m bored.” Jin suddenly said, but gulping down his shot as a response at Ueda’s threesome. He was starting to get mad again and he had to say that he tried, he really did! But Kazuya seemed to be keen on annoying him. “And I’m sleepy.” he yawned, covering his mouth with both of his hands.
Maru agreed with him quickly, suggesting that they should go home as tomorrow they still had classes and it was better if they managed to even get in time for them. Though reluctantly, eventually everyone agreed to do so and on stumbling feet, they rose from the table and made their way out of the pub. Everyone laughed when Junno tripped and almost knocked off the sleepy Maru, then Koki carried Ueda when the older man seemed to not want to use his feet anymore while Kazuya tried to stick close to them but not succeeding when Jin did what he knows best - to secure his grip on the younger’s arm.
“Kazuya, do you need a lift?” Koki asked as he took out his phone to call for a taxi.
“I…” he began but Jin quickly interfered.
“I’ll take him home.” he said, narrowing his eyes at Koki. His grip on the younger tightened and moved to his waist, bringing him closer and feeling exaggeratedly possessive of him.
Kazuya glared at him before turning to Koki to say sorry and that they’ll see each other together. “Also, take care of those two sleepy-heads there!” he chuckled when he looked at Junno and Maru who were sleeping while standing.
“I will.” Koki laughed and winked at Kazuya. “You too, ne? Take care and if you need anything, call me.” He said with a suddenly serious tone despite his drunken look. The younger realized that his friend hadn’t given up the idea of questioning him.
“Sure, thanks.” The boy smiled and watched how his friends got in the taxi, leaving him behind. Maybe because he was drunk he had a feeling of loneliness seeing them go without him. “Let me go, I can walk by myself.” He suddenly said, trying to move out of Jin’s arms.
Jin pouted but nevertheless, he let Kazuya go, staring at him for a few seconds before glancing at his watch. It was 4 a.m. Perfect! He grinned and stretched out his hand, wordlessly telling the boy to grab it. “Come on, I want to show you something.” he smiled, his eyes not looking as drunk as they were inside the club. The cold air had managed to wake him up completely and it made feel him more energetic.
“What now?” Kazuya sighed and took his hand. It was no use to refuse him as he was sure Jin would still make him follow, but at least he could whine about it, right?
“A surprise.” Jin chirped happily and started to lead Kazuya on a deserted alley, between the club and another building.
Has Kazuya mentioned he disliked Jin’s surprises? If not, he’d say it now. He was terrified of Jin’s surprises as it never proved to be on his taste and most likely to damage his pride, to make him feel stupid and trapped. He let Jin lead him through narrow and dim lit streets, wondering what waited for him at the end. He didn’t like a bit the ominous feeling he was getting. And he was right! Jin stopped next to his motorbike and mounted it excitedly, signaling the boy to quickly get on too.
“No way.” He said sternly, knowing that the older had been drinking and he wasn’t going to die that young.
“Come on, it’s not like I’ve been drinking that much!” Jin protested, his lips forming a pout. Well, he had been, but even if vodka was a strong beverage, it didn’t have the same powerful effect on Jin, considering how much he had abused it when he had first discovered the drink. “Trust me.” he added, a glint of hope hidden in his eyes by the night.
“I don’t have such a yearning death wish.” Kazuya still refused, not impressed with his reasons.
“Kazuyaaaaa.” Jin whined at him, showing his famous puppy eyes again. “We have to go by bike because it’s far and I really really want to go there now so that you can see your surprise.” he added, hoping that he can bribe Kazuya with the thought of a surprise.
“Beg more.” The younger suddenly said, the words slipping off his tongue without him thinking them through. Yet he didn’t let this show as he kept his unwavering gaze on Jin; maybe he enjoyed when the man was behaving like this, letting him believe he was in control. Because he wasn’t, Kazuya was completely aware of such thing, but he couldn’t help feeling good when Jin misled him like that. “And maybe I’ll come with you.” He added with a sweet smile.
Jin’s eyes changed for a second, seeming willing to throw everything out the window and start to force Kazuya to do what he said. But that glint disappeared quickly, as if it had never even been there. He got off the bike and stopped in front of Kazuya. His heart was beating a little faster, maybe because he was aware of the fact that he was obeying Kazuya’s wish so easily. It was exciting somehow, to not be in control but to know that you’re the one who makes the game. It was thrilling to actually not know what could happen the next second.
“Pretty please?” he smiled, tilting his head a little and looking at Kazuya with a cute expression, his face being lighted by the moon.
“Not enough.” Kazuya clicked his tongue. “More.” He enjoyed seeing the obeying Jin, it was a sensation that tickled him warmly.
Jin pouted, seeming lost for a moment. He recovered quickly from his sulking and adopted another technique. He stared at Kazuya for a few moments, pleading with his big eyes and his lip twitching like he was about to cry because nobody wanted to give him his favorite toy. He took one step to get closer to Kazuya. “Please come with me?” he asked, his voice submissive. Another half of a step so that he could now feel the younger’s breath on his chin. “Please.” he begged and kissed Kazuya on his cheek. “Please.” he repeated as he kissed the boy on the other cheek. “Please.” he said for the third time with a kiss on his nose. “Come with me, I promise you’ll be safe. No one can protect you more than I can.” he slowly said with a low voice, catching Kazuya’s lips with his own. He didn’t move, just lingered a little on that sweet and cast kiss, his eyes open and studying the younger’s expression. He retreated after a few seconds but didn’t move away from him, waiting anxiously for his answer.
Kazuya knew he had lost the moment Jin had pecked his cheeks just like a little child. He was weak against such tactics and he had already melted when Jin took his lips lightly and gently. He had closed his eyes at each kiss, feeling a different sensation than he usually got when Jin kissed or touched him. This one was full of warmth, gentleness and love-bursting. Because his heart was beating faster and just because of such small and light kisses accompanied by cliché words but touching. Kazuya nodded silently and opened his eyes, smiling smugly.
“Let’s go.” He said, drunk on Jin’s behavior and the booze from earlier.
Jin grinned happily and soon the two of them were riding on the motorbike with the wind in their hair. Their little game from before they left had managed to wake up Jin completely so he was now carefully driving, speeding when they left the crowded streets of Tokyo and turned to ones more peaceful, full of calmness and quietness. He had felt Kazuya’s hands tightening around his waist each time he speeded up, making a smirk appear on his lips and enjoying his body warm. No cars could be seen now and the tall buildings completely disappeared from the road they were running now on. Trees were the only thing surrounding them and the sound of the bike’s motor was the only thing disturbing the silence.
He liked this. Running on abandoned streets, with Kazuya clutching to him like he depends on him and only on him. He couldn’t stop the smile from forming on his smile and his heart was beating crazily, making him feel like a teenager. It was different, it was completely different from everything he had experienced until that moment. Nothing mattered for Jin, only Kazuya’s breathing and his own pounding heart. He could live with just this for the rest of his life, he thought, grinning stupidly to himself.
After almost an hour, Jin finally stopped and took off his helmet. Kazuya lifted his head from Jin’s jacket for the first time and looked around him. Jin had brought him to a beach? He turned questioningly, wondering what they could see on an empty beach. The older man just grinned and got off the motor, waiting for Kazuya to do so too, just to grab him by the hand and rush together towards the beach. They stopped abruptly as Jin took off his shoes, urging Kazuya to do the same. As soon as their bare feet touched the sand, both of them squealed with laughter. The soft sand was as cold as if they were walking on ice; yet nevertheless Jin pulled the younger after him, soon getting used with the icy sensation that numbed their feet.
The sound of waves was like a soft lullaby to Kazuya’s ears and the sea that was grandly lying in front of them captured his gaze as it swift its color, welcoming the dawn. There was a soft color of orange pink far in the horizon and it gradually changed to a deep blue when it reached the shore. The water was smoothening the cold sand with its silent waves, warming it just a bit. Kazuya approached the water, fascination written all over his face. He had a broad smile dancing on his lips as his eyes twinkled at the beauty of the sea that embraced the rays of the sun which lightened the horizon. His feet touched the water only to withdraw quickly at the contact. He laughed happily and he went again to feel the water that somehow felt warmer than the sand he was standing on. Like a little child, he went back and forward into the water, squealing and laughing in the same time.
“Do you like it?” Jin’s whisper came into his ear, a wide smile also spread on his lips.
Kazuya jolted, a little bit surprised to see Jin. He had forgotten about him. The younger grinned to him and stretched out his arms turning around slowly, as if to show everything he saw. "If I like it?" he asked, his eyes shining with delight. "I'm loving it!" he continued, turning just in the right moment to see the sun's head rise slowly out of the sea. It was a wonderful moment; the powerful and bright yellow-orange color that spilled over the sea making it shine like there were diamonds dancing in the slowly movement of the waves. He could sense the warmth the sun offered, prickling his cold skin, shivers of pleasure sweeping over his body. "It's so beautiful..." he murmured in awe.
“It’s one of my favorite places.” Jin confessed, sitting down on the cold sand. His eyes were fixed into the far away distance, watching the beautiful image but looking like he was in another land, in a totally different place. He smiled and turned to look at Kazuya, enjoying his real laughter and being glad that, for the first time, he was the one who made him happy.
Kazuya turned to Jin with a smile more dazzling than the rising sun then he approached and bent to kiss him on the lips. It was a light and still a deep kiss, the slight brush of their tongues was intimate enough as the overflow of emotions was poured down in the meeting of their lips. He broke the kiss with a dreamy look in his eyes.
“Now it’s one of my favorite places too.” He whispered and stood up to look at the now fully risen sun. It engulfed the sea and the shore in his warm embrace and Kazuya saw how some seagulls rose into the bright sky, crying out their freedom. He envied those birds.
Jin grabbed Kazuya’s hand and pulled him down, to sit next to him. He surrounded his little body with his arms, trapping him and making him rest between his legs. He let his chin fall on Kazuya’s shoulder, both of them continuing to watch the sun how it slowly but firmly made his appearance above the blue sea. He closed his eyes, letting himself be engulfed by Kazuya’s warmth, by his strawberry smell and his addicting touch.
“I’m sorry.” he whispered so low that Kazuya barely heard him.
“Hmm?” the younger murmured as he settled in Jin’s arms, feeling warm and cozy.
“I’m sorry.” Jin repeated with a steadier voice. “I’m sorry for what happened earlier. I’m sorry for always being so possessive and jealous. And I’m sorry because I hurt you.” he explained himself, his arms tightening their embrace.
Kazuya stiffened at what he heard, those words being the last he wanted to hear in that kind of moment. He decided to shrug it off, not wanting to destroy such a perfect moment, such a perfect sunrise.
“Shush.” He said, looking forward, trying to focus on the scenery in front of him. “I don’t want to hear such words right now.” He added, relaxing a little. “Let me sleep now…” he said in an undertone, cuddling in his arms and slowly closing his eyes, the last thing he wanted to see being the bright sun and the calm sea.
Jin took a deep breath, still seeming a little worried. He dismissed every thought about that, deciding that he could insist later, when he’ll try to show the younger that he made the right decision by agreeing to be his. He chuckled in Kazuya’s ear and kissed him on the cheek.
“You can’t sleep here, you’ll catch a cold.” he said in a loving manner. “Come, there’s a hut a mile from here, we can go and spend the night there.” he quickly added.
“A hut?” Kazuya opened one eye lazily. “How the hell do you know there’s a hut…?” he asked, his hands now playing in the sand. “And you know that is morning, right? We can’t spend the night there, Jin…” he added with a soft chuckle.
“Right, it’s morning.” Jin stated as a matter of fact, looking at the sun already risen up. “Well, we can still sleep there.” he grinned happily and ignored Kazuya’s first question.
“Now the hut’s disappeared?” Kazuya insisted, his curiosity perked up.
Jin chuckled again. “I told you it’s my favorite place.” he stuck out his tongue. “I used to come here a lot and that’s how I discovered the hut. I was just driving aimlessly when I saw it.” he explained, remembering that fatidic night when he had become charmed by this place. He really didn’t need to add how he had used that place in some nights. He was every time dead drunk because that’s the only way he would bring someone to that hut, hidden by the world. But Kazuya was special. Kazuya deserved to be there as much as Jin.
“Let’s go, I’m sleepy.” he continued and as to prove his point, he yawned, trying to end the discussion there.
“Okay.” The younger yawned too and rose from the ground, stretching out a little, just to chase away the drowsiness induced by sleep. He looked once more at the beautiful scenery and realized that this was the first time he had seen a sunrise. He didn’t expect Jin to be the one offering him such a first time, considering their last events together. Probably there were such parts of him that he had yet to see. So if he was going to stick with Jin this way, would there be more firsts? Unwilling to admit, Kazuya was thrilled at the thought.
Jin also rose up and took Kazuya’s hand, leading the both of them to his motorcycle parked near the beach. He gave Kazuya back his helmet and when his arms were secured around his waist, Jin started the engine, the sound breaking the silence surrounding them. He drove slow, enjoying their time together even if neither of them said anything. It was a comfortable silence, one in which Jin wanted to drown in and to live forever. The smile didn’t leave his lips and he felt his heart skip a beat when he saw the younger’s sleepy smile reflecting in the mirror.
The trip took almost fifteen minutes, considering Jin’s wish to slow down even more and to prolong this moment even if it was only by a few seconds. They both mounted off the bike and entered the small and cozy hut, Jin surprising the younger when he used his own keys to open the door. It was quiet everywhere and it looked like no one had been there for a long time. Before Kazuya could ask something, Jin hushed him by putting his index finger on Kazuya’s lips. The boy nodded in agreement and Jin smiled again, taking his hand and dragging Kazuya after him, up the stairs and into one of the rooms. Neither of them bothered to turn on the light, both of them searching the bed and falling on it, feeling more exhausted than ever. Jin pulled Kazuya closer to his body and the younger accepted the invitation, cuddling at his chest.
Sleep took over them in no time.
