Some of the questions (not the simple yes or no ones) don't match his "answers," but maybe he wasn't asked those questions in those words. We could only know by listening to (or reading the transcript of) the original interview.
Is your comment based on more than just this interview? He seems to answer Ms. X's questions directly, perhaps because she knows where he will and won't go.
Are there questions you'd like to ask him (aside from the ones you know he won't answer, like those about his personal life, about Snape, etc.)?
Great interview! He really has to be admired - not least for keeping his private life squeaky clean and, indeed, private. I also enjoyed re-reading the linked decade old interview from the Guardian. :-)

I wonder what he said in the early days, when he gave his very first interviews?
He was very open with The Guardian in 1998, and I'm pretty sure he hasn't revealed so much of himself since:
