Aww, he's so cute. My backseat looks exactly the same, because our golden retriever, Sam, took ONE ride with me. He's also terrified of large bodies of water, because he doesn't know that he can swim. My Dad and I went down to the Frankford island one day, and he kept throwing Sam into deeper water so he could swim back (and realize that he knew how), but he was not a fan of that method. Then we threw a stick out to deeper water, so he'd have to swim to get it, but he just whined and barked at it from the shore. What a big baby.

Jasper used to get upset when I would wade into the water when we lived on the river and he was a puppy. It was like he thought I was going to drown or something and it bothered him that he couldn't save me. Eventually he'd come out to where I was and just whine and whine and try to get me to come back to shore with him. Jasper too is a big baby

What a beautiful dog! I will have a dog like that one day.

The pictures give the impression that he is very calm, is that the case?

He's SUPER easy-going. The plan is to have him trained to go in and do therapy work when he's older. He gets worked up over a few thinks like strange dogs, cows and new places and he calms down pretty quickly. He's a sweetie :)

That's great! My parents have a 2.5 yr old german shepherd girl doggie - a failed seeing eye dog - and she is incredibly rambunctious! Bouncing all over the place :p
