First day back at work today, and I felt as though I was moving through a foggy dream world. No, that's *not* how I normally approach my job! I think it was lack of caffeine and the taking of my painkillers. And still shock. Hmm. Not sure about facts, but yes, events I remember in glorious 3d technicolour. Doesn't necessarily mean that my details are right, or that the perspective is from my point of view, but all the special effects are there. Same with my rarely remembered dreams.

Now I'm puzzled: how do memories manifest if it's not a cinematic replay? I don't mean the semi-random connection of facts, such as a smell evoking a memory, but an actual replaying of a sequence of events.

My memory is really quite terrible in most respects. However, when I do remember things it is generally pretty accurate and vivid.

(And I certainly remember you. Even if I couldn't identify you from your LJ and had to ask venta for clues !)

Hmmm, so do you actually *relive* your memories, or just recall them? Mine are a lot like actually being there all over again, and can really intrude in day to day life at times!

I know it was a werid post, but it was something that was in my head last night *grin*
