something forbidden
#01 - Motion
- He must’ve suddenly developed something close to insanity (and possibly worse), because Nanashi secretly finds Phantom’s movements in his mad killing spree to be the perfect example of ‘poetry-in-motion’, complete with splashing colour (crimson red) and lively orchestra (screams of agony) at the background.
#02 - Cool
- Phantom smirks at his captive, pleased at the resulting moans and groans that reluctantly escape Nanashi’s throat as the living zombie trails a cube of ice along the writhing body underneath his.
#03 - Young
- “You do know that you’re committing paedophilia right now, right?”
#04 - Last
- The sight that greeted the remaining members of MAR Heaven when they finally arrived at the rundown church is one of pure horror, one that can induce many a sleepless nights and mental trauma - Nanashi, in a flowing white gown, and Phantom in tuxedo of the same shade, sharing a deep kiss that seems to last for eternity - and that is exactly when Jack wakes up, screaming bloody murder.
#05 - Wrong
- The white-haired Head of Chess no Koma leans forward, until their foreheads touch and their breathes mingle in a whirlwind of hot air, and says, in a husky whisper that send a rush of molten heat straight at Nanashi’s groin, “It’s not Alviss that I desire, Nanashi-kun; it’s you.”
#06 - Gentle
- Nanashi growls and bitches loudly when he realizes (belatedly) that Phantom had left a considerable amount of hickeys on his neck from their rendezvous last night, and knowing the undead bastard, Nanashi is convinced that Phantom had done that for the sole purpose of annoying the hell out of him.
#07 - One
- It’s lonely, being on top of the food chain, and Phantom wants to share this feeling with that spindly blond with carefree smiles and easy attitude, even if his target is still blissfully unaware of his intention.
#08 - Thousand
- He folds another paper crane (the seven hundred fifty fifth) and tosses it into a box that overflows with similar neatly-folded cranes, wondering if he ever reaches a thousand, he can wish for a drastic change of attitude, exclusively for his demented, megalomaniac zombie of a lover. *
#09 - King
- “I don’t do bottom, Nanashi-chan.”
#10 - Learn
- Nanashi is not much of a learner, and not an obedient one at that too, but he figures that Phantom, being alive (or technically, not) longer than him, must’ve known a few extra tricks along the course of bedroom activities - and he’s not talking about poker here.
#11 - Blur
- Somehow, he doesn’t realize when Nanashi starts to become a detrimental element to his bloodthirsty ambition, but when he finally does, Phantom knows that it’s too late to erase the young man from his life and that it’s almost impossible to choose between power, and the object of his intense liking.
#12 - Wait
- The most fascinating thing in the gloomy dungeon is perhaps the pile of grey skeletons at the corner of his cell, and Nanashi contemplates the probability of dying from boredom, because Phantom seems to be taking his own sweet time in coming to (inevitably, in his opinion) torture him.
#13 - Change
- Nanashi gets quieter and quieter as days drag by; he still refuses to eat, exercises continuous sleeping/self-induced coma and hangs limply on his manacled hand, like a beautiful statue ornamenting the dungeon wall, and Phantom, on one of his visits, muses that it’s such a pity to lose such a pretty plaything.
#14 - Command
- Agile fingers fix numerous silver clasps (Nanashi lost count at fifteen) on the leather collar, and with a satisfied pat on the last one and a tug at the connecting leather leash, Phantom grins at his young lover and says, “Now bark.”
#15 - Hold
- Nanashi squirms in discomfort when Phantom’s hands circle his midriff, but not because of the cold contact and almost crushing, possessive grip - he’s just a bit ticklish.
#16 - Need
- Feather-light touches dance like phantoms (Nanashi snorts; how fitting) on his feverish skin, coaxing and teasing and urging him to succumb to the temptation.
#17 - Vision
- “Look at me, and only me,” Phantom whispers huskily into his ear as they nears a much-sought-after climax, before adding a chilling “Or I’ll have to rip out this beautiful eyes of yours and pickle them.”
#18 - Attention
- “Alviss… was Phantom staring at Nanashi’s ass?”
#19 - Soul
- He shouldn’t have felt anything, should feel nothing nothing nothing when his hand pierces through the blonde’s chest (he’d lick it before, scattered kisses on it, bitten into it) and crushes the heart inside - ‘should’ is the cooperative word here.
#20 - Picture
- It’s hard to understand why they are together in the first place, and it’s harder to understand still why they continue to be together, despite the overwhelming odds against this forbidden relationship.
#21 - Fool
- The old woman’s wrinkled face broke into a grim smile as she uncovers an upturned ‘Fool’ card, mumbling something about ‘love and lies’ and how ‘love leads to lies’; Nanashi stops listening after five seconds - he never does believe in cards reading.
#22 - Mad
- It’s stupid enough to sleep with the leader of the enemy’s force that is hell-bent on world domination/destruction, but to fall in love with the same deranged zombie is beyond sheer stupidity.
#23 - Child
- Candy stares at the small, golden-haired boy, who’s trotting behind Phantom and ponders silently on her leader’s enigmatic ‘he reminds me of someone’ reply when she asked about the brat.
#24 - Now
- Nanashi pauses from their shared kisses and tries to say something, tries to protest against the wandering fingers underneath his shirt, but he is quickly silenced with a look and another deep kiss from Phantom.
#25 - Shadow
- He knows that he is only chasing a shadow, chasing something that will disappear once light (what he’s fighting for) reigns above darkness (what he’s fighting to keep), but Nanashi can’t help the childish desire to try and make it work anyway.
#26 - Goodbye
- Phantom kneels down in front of the glass coffin, gazing deeply at the blond laying inside and smiles at how oddly alive Nanashi looks, even in death.
#27 - Hide
- “You can’t keep it a secret forever, Nanashi.”
#28 - Fortune
- His first intention when he first breaks into Phantom’s castle is the immense loot guaranteed to be in some obscure treasure rooms; it’s not really his fault that he needs to take that detour near the master bedroom.
#29 - Safe
- This dark, dark room is their haven, where no one can remind them that they are enemies, that they are supposed to be fighting against each other and that one of them will perish when one continues to live.
#30 - Ghost
- He finds it to be comforting, how Nanashi (sweet, sweet memories) haunts his days and nights and every single waking hour, because to be honest, he can’t really stand the sight of the blonde’s body rotting away in the coffin inside his bedroom.
#31 - Book
- “Bastard, if you’re reading this, that means I’m either missing or you’ve finally killed me and everyone else…”
#32 - Eye
- Both of them covered a side of their face; Nanashi because it’s easier to pick up chicks if he supports the ‘cool and mysterious’ look and Phantom is just to hide another one of his secrets.
#33 - Never
- “What’s it like, Phantom, to live forever?”
#34 - Sing
- When he was a little boy, his mother used to sing him a lullaby every night, to coax him to bed with her beautiful voice, and it is bizarre how he recalls that when he hears Phantom humming the exact same tune as they lie together inside his dark, dark castle.
#35 - Sudden
- It’s like a wave of white hot fire, burning his senses and his brain cells and his logic, when Phantom first lay (cold, cold) fingers onto the delicate curve of his neck, like he’s going to strangle him but not just yet.
#36 - Stop
- “Don’t stop, please don’t stop.”
#37 - Time
- It would not be long before the game comes to an end, and as Phantom observes yet another battle that Nanashi participates in, he wonders what will happen when they face each other as enemies.
#38 - Wash
- Nanashi’s face reddens when Phantom advances towards him, the zombie making a wet trail on the stone floor as drops of water drip from his hair, all over him from the shower that he had taken earlier.
#39 - Torn
- He hates choosing, because somehow he always makes the wrong choice but he knows that when the times comes, he shall have to finally make up his mind between his crave for peace and his thirst for Phantom’s maddening kisses.
#40 - History
- “You shall not mention his name in my presence ever again, understand, Peta?”
#41 - Power
- It’s exhilarating; to know that he might be one of the very few people that managed to find out that the MAR Heaven’s resident megalomaniac’s has a chronic addiction for sweets and other saccharine treats.
#42 - Bother
- Nanashi swears that he’s gonna bloody murder the next person that walks into his daily make-out session with Phantom, as Ian’s chuckles reverberate through the stone hallway outside.
#43 - God
- Phantom believes that he can be God if he tries hard enough, but he doesn’t think that Nanashi will like that status, seeing that the blond seems to not believe in divine beings and it’s morally wrong to have sex with a non-believer.
#44 - Wall
- After getting lost inside the sprawling hallways of Phantom’s castle for the twenty third time that day alone, Nanashi insists that his zombie lover should install some kind of a map for directionally-challenged people like him.
#45 - Naked
- It’s embarrassing as hell to lie on one side on a humongous bed, attempting to look sexy while wearing nothing, so Phantom had better be a good painter, because Nanashi expects his nude portrait to look stunning enough to deserve public burning.
#46 - Drive
- He fights in style because that’s just the way he does things, and it’s absolutely not because he knows that Phantom is watching from somewhere in the shadow.
#47 - Harm
- “You’re not allowed to die in anyone’s hands but mine.”
#48 - Precious
- Nanashi furiously punches Phantom’s face, flinching when he sees the zombie tattoo that decorates his hand and fuming that yes, he kinda didn’t want to die yet, but that doesn’t mean that the bastard can go around turning people into a fuckin’ zombie without asking first!
#49 - Hunger
- The dead chicken is not cooperating, despite his attempts to threaten it into submission using a hunting knife, and the sight of Phantom patiently waiting for him to finish cooking dinner with that damned amused smile is definitely not helping.
#50 - Believe
- “Kill me if you can, Nanashi-kun.”
* # 08 : There’s a legend that says that if you complete a thousand paper cranes, your wish can be granted.
