good morning, gokudera

“What the hell are you doing in my kitchen?!”

Yamamoto looks up from his current task and grins at Gokudera, wide and innocent and charmingly oblivious of the wrath radiating from the doorway. “Making breakfast, of course.”

There is a fit of agitated flailing that follows, as well as a few chosen words (in Italian, so Yamamoto tilts his head to a side and looks appropriately confused) and Gokudera stomps into the kitchen. It’s probably a good thing that Gokudera is only wearing an old pair of jeans but Yamamoto takes a step back, just in case there are rooms for dynamites inside those threadbare jeans.

Though it does get a bit distracting when it slips over Gokudera’s hip just so…

Another firm press and Yamamoto carefully places the sushi on a platter in front of him, besides several others that he has done before the interruption. He turns to his companion and his grin widens at the sight of tousled silver hair and indignant scowl that greets him. He thinks, happily, that he can get used to this view, this type of dangerous domesticity. “Did you sleep well?”

“You snored.” The tone is accusatory, but not as sharp as it would have been two years ago. Gokudera adds a ‘you idiot’ for good measure and shuffles towards Yamamoto, critically scrutinising the small array of sushi. His scowl turns into a petulant grimace, lips curling in distaste around a lit cigarette. “Don’t you know how to make something else?”

“Sushi is good for your health,” Yamamoto responds, almost automatic and really now, didn’t they have the same conversation yesterday? He wipes his hands and reaches out for Gokudera, finding no large amount of resistance when he pulls the other guardian closer. The cigarette nearly burns a hole through his shirt though. “You’re starting early on the nicotine today.”

Gokudera snorts and leans back against the counter, blushing slightly from his position in between Yamamoto’s long arms. It’s amusing how he continues to exhibits signs of distress whenever open affection is involved. “Shut up. Mind your own business.”

Yamamoto laughs and presses closer, one hand teetering above that tempting waistline. His thumb rubs over Gokudera’s stomach, teases the taut and warm skin there and he can feel the muscle reacting to his gentle ministration. “Still worried about Tsuna?”

“Of course! He needs me, his right hand around him or-!”

Honestly. Sometimes, Gokudera just talks too much. Yamamoto presses another kiss on the cigarette-free corner of that mouth and grins at the astonished (horrified?) look his action incurred. The blush has also intensified, spreading a lovely shade of red all over Gokudera’s pale face. He moves back just a little bit, creates some distance between them because Yamamoto doesn’t think that he can stop himself from making a breakfast out of Gokudera if they continue pressing against each other.

Gokudera just, well, stares. And blushes. A lot.

And then he notices what Yamamoto is wearing.

“What the hell are you doing in my pants?!”

END

The 'in-my-pants' thing always make me laugh. Oh, double-edged wordplay of the English language! How I love thee!

Feedbacks will be like drugs but much, much more awesome!
