Quite honestly, I'm proud of you honey, and contemplating the same situation myself. Well, if you're going to be home this weekend (the 18th mainly) I'm coming in town with my friend Danielle and I'd really like to see you (and she said she wants to meet a few of my close friends). Hopefully I'll see you soon!
i'm going to be honest with you...because thats the kind of friendship we have-since last fall, we've pretty much told each other the entire truth no matter if it was bad or good- jackie and heather are proud of you-you're doing what makes you happy. and I am glad that you will be happy because not being happy tends to really suck. but also, you cant be happy all the time. and I believe you were the one who told me this, when i was going through the same thoughts of wanting to leave averett. i mean what the hell was i doing in a place where i hated every single moment of it? why did i stay? partly because my parents wouldn't let me come home. and partly because you and a few other really good friends told me i couldn't give up. so im a little dissapointed in you and maybe you arent giving up. and maybe im just pigheaded and dont see your reason

Meg--it takes a real friend to tell you what she really, honestly believes, even when it's what she knows it's exactly what you don't want to hear. I'm blessed to have someone like you...someone to keep me in check. And even though we disagree on this one, I'm glad you had the courage to say what you thought
