So I have the best friends ever. I called up my good buddy Corbett yesterday and asked him to get me the phone numbers of some junkyards in and around Chesapeake so I could make some calls and find the parts to fix my car...but he did me one better and went ahead and found 'em for me. Not only that, he's going to pick them up from the junkyard

Chiming in really late, finding this off a random google search for the dojang where I take TKD (which happens to be the parent school for the club down at Tech) - they do the stripe/test system to gauge who is and isn't ready to really test. Consider it like a pre-test quiz. Espically down for you guys - as I understand it, your instructors aren't of a high enough rank to offically test anyone (I THINK. I could be wrong on this) - and they don't want to waste Master Khan's time, so they do pre-tests beforehand to see who is and isn't ready.

It works a little differently for us, we have to get two stripes to be ready to belt test, and it is MUCH further apart (by example? I just tested for first stripe on this Saturday, and I won't be belt testing for my next belt until March)
