The tricky thing about religion is that different people use it for different things. Some have religion because theyre afraid, or feel like they need to order the seemingly orderless world in which we live. Religion is amazing when you are strong enough to keep from using it as a crutch against having to form your own opinions, which a great many religious people do. As long as you are intelligent and discerning enough to recognize that all things are mutable, including the set of religious beliefs to which you subscribe, then that's amazing. On the other side of the coin though are the people who have locked themselves in a box of dogma and are afraid to explore their own personal convictions outside of what have been prescribed to them by the Catholic, or Bahai, or hell, the Rastafari church, as well as those who have been blindly indoctrinated against religion altogether, like many of our "open-minded" peers have been. Those are the groupthinkers, both relious and atheistic... the ones I have a certain amount of disdain for.
