I was wondering if you are going to just let this community die out or allow someone else to take it over....

I hate seeing the Kyan communities just fall by the wayside...I don't think Kyan deserves that and neither do his fans (however few there seem to be in the LJ)....

I would like to see if I could do something with it myself, but I'm not that computer savvy and I don't know how good a job I could with it....

Kyan fans need a place to go too...!

Simple, make an account at http://photobucket.com and upload Kyan pictures onto there. Then everyday make a new entry and make sure you post it into kyan_daily, just like you would post in any community.
