It was a little less than a month until Elliot's "wedding", and the last thing she wanted to do any time soon was walk down the aisle. Mostly because her feet hurt.

And around the corner comes a rather large, scary looking man. Who just so happens to be a doctor. No where near as good as one from the 20th century, but better then the ones who use leeches. He's dressed ina tunic and leggings,a pair of black metal gauntlets strapped to his belt.

"Are you all right?" His accent is thick and unplaceable, being from a different world and all.

Elliot nearly had her kid right there, on account of nearly jumping out of her skin. "Holy frick on a popsicle stick!" she exclaimed, whirling around with one hand pressed to her chest. "You shouldn't sneak up on people like that! Especially pregnant ones! You're lucky my water didn't break just now, you know. Premature labor is a serious risk when big, scary men sneak up on you! No offense," she added hastily, staring at him.

"You're a what?" Elliot asked doubtfully, staring at him some more. Oh, come on! This guy looks more like a bouncer from a Ren Faire. Do Ren Faires need bouncers? I guess they must do if the knights get a little too frisky on the mead something.

Somehow, she was having a hard time believing this huge guy had gone to three years of medical school and managed not to kill anybody.

Then again, Elliot didn't exactly look like a doctor, either.

"Oookay then," she said, eventually.
