Dream 03 - Shorty should not be allowed to do important things...ever
They had just escaped from a rather dangerous cave thanks to Rune's assistance in getting them out of there quickly. They'd need to go back to town now and rest a bit before trying it again.
He was about to say the words to the tech that would take them back to Aiedo and to Alys and Chaz's place which had plenty of room for them all to rest when Chaz piped in. "Can I try?"
The blonde boy had been working on trying to learn the technique with his own aid, but so far hadn't been overly successful. Of course, who knows how much the boy had been practicing, but now wasn't the time until they were more sure of his skills. "I don't think so, Shorty."
Another one of their group chimed in to his defense. "But Chaz has been practing so hard at it! Just give him a chance!"
He shook his head. "This isn't the time, we need to get back quickly and not end up in the middle of a desert surrounded by sandworms."
Alys walked toward him, ready to defend her partner. "Rune, I think he can do it, give him a chance. You had to learn somehow, right?"
He sighed. Not only was the whole group ganging up on him, but even Alys was. He never could deny her. "Fine. Don't blame he if we end up on Dezolis or something."
The last person in the group, the one who looked like the odd one out because rather than looking human he was covered in blue hair. "Can he even do that?"
"Maybe." Rune said with a smile. "I wouldn't put it past Shorty."
The blonde swordsman looked angry at that comment. "My name is Chaz!" He was so mad that he just went ahead and used the technique without warning the rest of them and a moment later they were all in Aiedo, safe and sound.
Then they heard laughter coming from a distance. A voice barely able to speak because he was laughing so hard said, "Sandworms got your clothes you guys?"
All at once, each of them looked down and realized Chaz forgot something rather important, their clothes and equipment.
Both Chaz and Rune found themselves turning a nice shade of pink since Chaz's glance just went to Rika, and Rune's had gone to Alys. Both the women looked mad and slapped them.

Rune woke up before finding out how in the hell they even got their clothes back, and really, other than the nice view of Alys, he was somewhat glad that was indeed a dream. How embarrassing and he was so glad that wasn't an actual thing that could happen.
