A friend of mine from high school spoke on KQED radio (San Francisco NPR-affiliate) about same-sex marriage and immigration benefits. It aired Friday, Feb 27. (2:25 minutes)

That's a cute little story. It's interesting that about 20% of the entire thing is the ads at the end thanking the sponsors.

It shows he never has looked into sponsoring a spouse for a green card. His partner, as someone soon to have a PhD, will probably have an easier time applying on his own.
