The "due dates" for AT&T DSL "service" to begin: May 13, June 3, June 18. Still no internets.

(A nice neighbour lent me their wifi password, but the connection isn't reliable enough for me to download papers. AT&T, please let me get papers from JSTOR and watch the Colbert Report soon.)

Wow, AT&T really seems pretty awful in general. I guess I was lucky to only have one period of three days and one period of two weeks when I was without service (it was already set up the day I arrived, as promised).

I was especially unimpressed with the staff's lack of knowledge of their own system -- the first and second of those due dates was set after an admission that no one had activated the transfer.

Your issues with AT&T resemble the ones I experienced with Verizon (which I had in Davis). The main disconnection problems I experienced with AT&T were typically 1-2 minutes, but at least once every one and a half hours.

I've had those on several occasions as well, especially in the week after I told them I was closing my account. Not every few hours, but several times a week, certainly.
