This is sort of shameful, but I'm posting about a Tumblr meme here because I don't want to post it on Tumblr. (I decided early on that my Tumblr would remain meme-free, and I'm trying to keep to it.) But I can't just ignore it entirely--it's just too perfect, and, well, fateful? Probably not, but maybe ( Read more... )

For a class I'm taking (on video games- oh, college) I've been playing Pokemon Leaf Green that I got online- I'm right to the point where Sandshrew will start showing up! :D

Wait. I can get having a class about video games. But really? Pokemon? Everyone who'd take a video game class has played Pokemon ANYWAY. What's the point? You'd think the advantage of such a class would be, you know, to possibly be exposed to games you haven't played before?

Or maybe that's just me. Still, I guess that's gotta be worth something to be able to say to your future minions that one time in college you ended up playing Pokemon for a class.

He told us we could play any game we wanted, we just had to do analysis and stuff on it.

Is it sad that I knew which Pokemon it was based on the number? [/nerd]

That's pretty epic nerdity right there, but it's awesome. xD

Lol. It's not that epic. He's just one of my favoritest Pokemon ever (possibly tied with Abra and Kadabra though).

I also used to have a sandshrew keychain on my backpack for like, ALL of middle school (and into freshman year of highschool, too, until the thing broke). And it was like the only adornment I ever had on my bag, so I guess it was sort of notable. One time in high school a friend of mine introduced me to someone (a stranger to me) who was like OMG I KNOW YOU. YOU'RE THE GIRL WHO HAD THE SANDSHREW KEYCHAIN AMIRITE. And I was like LOL yes, yes that was me.

And yeah.
