so i've been really busy lately.
wed. i got out of school and went to dinner with carlee, then we ran into brian and kyle and their families. we ended up eating with them.
thurs. i cleaned ALLLLLLL day. went to the carlsbad co. stores with my mom elizabeth and amaya and went to my second interview at mimi's cafe. i got the job and i will be a hostess. it only pays $6.75 an hour, but thats okay. its better than nothing.
fri. a bunch of people came over for joe's going away party. it was fun, but kinda sad. char and aud spent the night.
sat. (yesterday) it was my 16th birthday party. i had a bon fire at the beach. my parents got there at 8, and there were only a few fire pits left and they were facing the harbor, they were like campsites. so it kinda sucked, but it was fun nontheless and i liked the food :-D. char aud and i got there at like 9-930 and i stayed till about 1030 so it was a very tiring day. i got a little burnt but it will hopefully just turn into a tan.
sun. (today) i woke up and showered and such and then i messed around online, packed for vegas and went out to lunch with louie and my parents. we went to islands and it was really. really. really. good. louie and i talked in the car and although i live with him i dont have the opportunity to talk with him very often, so it was nice. then after lunch my parents and i went to the mall. we got my dad some stuff for fathers day and he got a massage. i found out my phone is a piece of shit and its not going to work until i call for them to send me a new one, which means my phone isnt going to work for las vegas. then we came home i did some laundry and we went to the regal in downtown oceanside. we saw batman and i thought it was super good. i really enjoyed it and it reminded me of the days when my dad and i would go to the movies just us. and now, i am home.
next week i'm going to be in las vegas with the wisnesky's. we're leaving tomorrow and are coming back on friday which means i will be there for my birthday (thurs. the 23rd) its my sweet 16, but i have a feeling i will be having more fun with them than if i were to stay at home for it. i'm really excited but i'm kind of nervous too. everything should work out great, i just wish my phone was working properly. oh well i guess i have to deal with it.
lastly. i'm really upset about everything thats going on at guajome. its totally stupid and it's becoming a dictatorship. it used to be that a student had a say in just about everything at the school, as well as the teachers, and now its about nothing but the administration. there is going to be a meeting at the starbucks by the krikorian on tues. at noon, but i cant go cause i'll be in vegas,so if you are able to go, you should. there's also a board meeting on the 23rd. (thurs.) i was looking at the website and they took off all of the "lily pads" of the teachers that they fired or are just not coming back or "weren't invited back" out of the 8 teachers i had last year 4 of them are not going to be there next year, not to mention mrs. Kanawi (who i'm sure all of you know was a wonderful woman, and i have heard a fantastic teacher as well) as well as some others. Also, you may remember that last year mrs. gerent (sp?) and mrs. kawano (sp?) left as well. these three women were the teachers i was looking forward to having since i was in 6th grade, and it just so happens that the year before i get each of them, they leave. wtf is up with that? i am appalled (spelling?) at the path that Guajome (or rather Mrs. Harrison) has chosen to take. My family has been with the school for the past 9 years, give or take, so i have been able to see how it has grown throughout the years, and instead of progressing as it should, it seems as though Guajome is backtracking and it turning into something it always said it wouldnt be.
love you all
