Music in PotC
Random thoughts, if I might.
I don't know exactly what percentage of people know what I'm talking about, but isn't it amazing how easily a person can be swayed by something like music?
I have very strong reactions to music, particularly if it's good music. I end up buying a lot of soundtracks to the movies I watch, because if the movie was memorable, I can often picture the visual if I hear the accompanying score. I've got the Dead Man's Chest soundtrack at work, and whenever I get to the end, to "Hello, Beastie", I've got to look up from whatever I'm doing and...
...I feel a -twinge-. Oh gods, this part again. But it ends so solidly, it gets me grinning, everytime, even if I wasn't grinning to begin with.
So my question is this: how much does the soundtrack of PotC affect how you like or dislike it? What are some of the more moving tracks for you, or your favorites? Any and all comments, reflections, and epiphanies musically related to our favorite pirate series, more than welcome.
