A Nov. ballet is coming to a head that will add another tax on cigarettes. While I generally have not cared about this, this is a doozy of a tax. $2.60, on top of the current $3.99+ for a pack.

Only problem is that if you get caught bringing more then 1 carton over the line, you are subject to huge fines, and jail time..Its because of the pesky tax they do this

to many stores were shipping them in from other places and california wasnt making the tax money off of it...CIgerretes are the new legal pot...They will raise taxes as high as they go until the illegalize em!

Um... I cross the border all the damn time between CA and NV. I have NEVER seen anyone manning it for auto's. Only the trucks have to talk to people. Cars just pull up, stop at the stop sign then continue driving
