The whole City marching down? They'll at least notice.

And if we were to give up that easily, then black people would still be riding on separate sides of the bus, and women would be restricted to the kitchens.

The problem with your suggestion is that it forgets that Gods are not humans and are under no obligation to see things 'our' way.
