"Hey," Gert said, perking up. "Yeah, I'm gonna spend some time at home. Portalocity finally decided to stop being jerks."

"I honestly haven't decided yet," Karolina admitted after some hesitation. For a couple of reasons, although mostly because she hadn't really thought about it that much yet. "At the end of the summer at the latest, but I don't know. I guess it depends on whether the guys needs me back home."

"Well, don't decide based on that," Gert said. "First of all, a Team Runaways without a Karolina would pretty objectively suck, but more importantly, your interest in going home or not going home trumps everyone else's opinions."
