Should Auld aquaintence be forgot

omg why do we Scots do this to ourselves! In about an hour and a half I am heading out on a smelly bus to Glasgow city centre to huddle en masse in a big square named George Square and watch random people sing songs and count down numbers while I desperatly drink red wine out of plastic bottles in an effort to keep warm and alive.
