Rules:
A) People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blog and replace any question that they dislike with a new, original question.
B) Tag eight people. Don't refuse to do that. Don't tag who tagged you. Psh. Whomever wants to that also happens to stumble upon my journal (largely unknown in its existence). ;D
1. Make a list of 5 things you can see without getting up use as a useful weapon or barricade the room should a thief break into your house:
I say this because I once had a dream where I barricaded myself in this room and called the police. Let's see...I used that bureau to block the door. This lamp seems like a good blunt object even if it's a bit on the heavy side. Of course I'd have to incorporate my keyboard as a dying message should the perp be someone I know. My last hope for justice would be Detective Conan solving the case. I could toss curtains on the intruder to disorientate him/her. Aaaand...hid in my backpack. It fits all the crap I need to AP classes, it should fit me.
2. How do you style your hair?
Au naturel. I leave it down or tie it up in a ponytail. Hairspray is used on occasions where I'm suppose to present myself well.
3. What are you wearing now?
Running shorts and the Myrtle Beach Tee I got spring trip two years ago.
4. What's your occupation?
Technically...I'm in a string quartet. We play for weddings and stuff. Our first gig is in September.
5. Do you nap a lot?
I do when I have to. After a few days of sleeping four hours or less, I usually schedule an after-sports-practice crash.
6. Who was the last person you hugged?
Mon père! He's was in Taiwan for the past two weeks for my cousin's wedding and came home yesterday.
7. What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
....alright, might as well spill on my lastest slash pair. Your choice to advert you eyes if you so choose. Rorschach/Nite Owl II from Watchmen.
8. What was the last thing you ate today?
Something delicious that my dad brought back from Taiwan. -pats belly-
9. Are you a morning or night person?
I have often considered the nocturel lifestyle. The nighttime is charming. It's dark and people are sleeping. Good time for writing thoughts or desperately finishing a good book (though that's really a day thing ongoing into night thing and going back to day thing because if I could I wouldn't put the book down.)
10. What websites do you always visit when you go online?
Gmail, Pandora, dA, LJ. I only go on facebook when I need to reply, comment, or find something.
11. What was the last thing you bought dreamt about?
(certainly changes the question) Don't remember what last night's was BUT the night before. It was a pseudo-Turn of the Screw reenactment. Think like a field trip of a small group of students to watch it. The teacher left us in this pink room and closed the door. We stood to the side while this blond hair man (he was a ghost) stood in the center of the room while facing the three panel window. It's dark outside. Suddenly a person appears outside the window. It was startling. I remember straining to remember his features. Brown hair, stubble, plaid shirt. The guy outside is suppose to be real. The two guys have a stare off. Then the ceiling of the room opens up and the guy in the room starts to disintegrate. His head is cut open and blood is coming out and hey look there's his brain. Impressive special effects that aren't achievable in front of a live audience but certainly in a dream. He collapses on the floor. We are steely silent. Tako immediately dashes forward saying "GIANT WALNUT!!" because the remains of his disintegrated-head is (or at least resembles) a giant walnut broken in half. At the same time I was also thinking his head looked like a giant walnut and now I wanted his giant walnut head too. Alas, it is now in the posession of my friend. -pouts-
12. What are you listening to right now?
Was listening to: 愛你愛到死
It's from a movie that was really popular in Taiwan last year. Never watched it but my parents did and my dad bought the piano sheet music from Taiwan. I liked the way it sounds. The title translates to Love You until I Die.
However, in the process of trying to hyperlink that, my screen wouldn't load and I got tired of listening to it on Youtube so I started listening to my Coldplay station on Pandora. Shiver by Coldplay came up.
13. What do you think about before you go to bed at night?
Usually I'm absolutely exhausted on a school night morning. I just conk out when my had hits the pillow. In the moments when I set my alarm clock and consequently look at the time and automatically calculate how many hours of sleep I'll be getting, I wonder when this will all be over. Since it's spring break, I absently wonder about AP tests. I'll be panicking soon but until then, I'm lackadaisical.
14. What is your favorite food?
Oh boy. Really good dried fruits.
15. Do you collect anything?
Like Ebilhamster, I used to collect a few things here and there. I had a shortlived rock collection once. That was back in elementary school. Had a phase where I spent my recess breaking rocks with bigger rocks and my mom gave me a little box to put them in. I know, I'm such an awesome little kid.
16. If you could play any musical instrument, which one would you play?
Huh. I've done piano, violin, and singing. I would have to go with...percussions. I want to be the person who dings the giant chime looking thing. I love the sound of it. Plus I like rhythemy stuff.
17. Where are you going to be ten years from now?
Hiking in Maine. Acaida national park is awesome.
18. What's something you'd like to say to someone right now?
Glad you haven't completely disappeared from my life you delicious bastard.
19. Say something about the person who tagged you:
Ebilhamster. You're awesome in your own right. I like to joke around with you, and we have congruant opinions when it comes to literature. <3
Now go forth and multiply!
....I mean the memes, not the teenagers!!!
NEWFLASH. CAMP APPLICATIONS ARE OUT.
Thing is, don't know if I'll really go this year. Seems like I still have a lot to do with SAT stuff.
