Went movie watching again, so here's another short ramble about Inglorious Bastards.
Most of the movie takes place during the German Occupation of France, so a lot of the actors were bi- or trilingual. I could make out a couple of french words, but my pitiful amount of knowledge on the french language made it simpler to just read the subtitles. Overall I enjoyed the movie. It was orchestrated for a wide audience with high entertainment value, combining comedic, gory, and romantic (as in romanticism, not the lovely stuff) elements. It could have been a better movie if they could blend the feel of the multiple character plots into something more cohesive. It was splotchy like I was quite sure how to react.
Now I shall be snooping around to pick up more icons. Just got 9 more spaces for 'em.
