suck ling classes are suck. I always played sudoku - my school's newspaper distributed it daily, and it was small and unobtrusive enough that I could write without seeming rude, and if anything interesting enough to write down came up, I could always switch.
Animation classes are awesome. :) Maybe try watching fun commercials for ideas of short enough stories? Or does it need to be logo-animation short?
Nope, it can be whatever we want, as long as it's under 30 sec and won't be too hard to animate. My problem is that all my trying-to-be-short ideas turn into (relative) epics with crazy complicated movement. I'll definitely keep commercials in mind next time I'm trying to concoct a simple little story. Have you take animation classes, then?
Either Smith or more likely UMass. Since I can't afford to stay at Hampshire. I'm applying to Smith on the off chance that they'll give me more money, but odds are I'll end up at UMass.
I'm doing ok. I wanted my spring break to be all at once fun, restful, and productive - and that's going about as well as it sounds.
I took a sort of survey course on graphic design, and we did some animation. It really makes you aware of how much effort it is to do things that happen really, really quickly. I think I made a floating broom and an opening box using illustrator and image ready - and they weren't that bad. :)
Good luck on your transfer applications! I hope they give you all the monies.

It really changes how you view animations, knowing everything that went into making them.
Thanks!
