Yeah, so I finally got around to watching Supernatural 2-11 called "Playthings" again and now I will do my little thing!!
This was one funny episode!! It has to be the funniest Supernatural to date. I really loved the whole "anitquer" thing. And then what Sam said to Dean when he asked why everyone thought they were gay, "You are kind of butch. Maybe they think you are overcompensating for something." HAHAHA. Oh and the whole Sam likes to play with dolls things! The look Sam gave Dean was priceless!! This episode was a lot of fun!
But of course, this episode does have it's serious and creepy moments. Although drunken Sam was another funny moment, it took a serious turn when Sam made Dean promise to kill him if Sam ever "became something he wasn't." I don't really know how I feel about that. On one hand, I can see why Sam asked that of Dean. Sam has to be scared and it must be killing him not knowing what's going to happen. On the other, that was kind of.. I don't know how to exactly put it. Mean? Selfish? Inconsiderate? I mean, didn't John basically ask the same thing? Isn't that even more weight on Dean's shoulders? Poor guy. I really feel for him.
And let's talk about being creeped out! If you have ever seen "The 4400," then you know that Conchita Campbell can do creepy. And she does it so well in this episode.
One last thing I would like to add is that I liked how they showed that Sam and Dean were looking for Ava. At least we all know now that they are searching and are going to continue searching for her so we haven't seen the last of her! Yay!!
In fact...
***MAJOR SPOILER DO NOT READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SPOILED BY UPCOMING EPSIODES***
In that winter press thing they did this past Friday, it was said that a lot of this season past characters were coming back! Here is a quote:
Then we plan on, especially as we
gear up to the season finale, actually bringing back
lots of characters who have played throughout the
season, who have already made appearances on the show.
Gabe Tigerman, who played a character named Andy; a
character named Ava; you know, Jim Beaver, who plays
Bobby, hilariously named Bobby Singer.
I am so freaking excited!! I cannot wait!!
