I've been out here two and a half months now, how 'bout that? It's been pretty rocking. Chris and I have been working pretty hard on a couple projects and they're both out of our hands right now but even if neither actually gets made it's been great experience developing ideas and pitching them. You can hit me, but it's the water, dude. Bagels and pizza are heavily reliant on the chemical compounds in the water that is used to help cook them. It might be someone dicking around with me, but I did hear about a family business that moved to Florida or South Carolina or something and couldn't make decent pizza down there; they couldn't figure out why and eventually found out it was that they weren't getting their water from the same supply. Sounds stupid, but I'm pretty convinced at this point.

And glad to hear you're doing good out there. I'm a bit jealous; I'd love to get my ass off the east coast. I may be taking a trip out to California soon, though. Looking forward to it.

I do believe the water theory but I'm not sure it goes far enough, they still can't make tomato sauce for example, or import good lox.

If you come out here make sure you're here while the weather's nice. The good season seems to be January-December.
