I went back to the gallery today to deliver some gift boxes for my little origami crane ornaments (selling well), and took the opportunity to take some additional pictures of the wave vase. I'm putting up four different views to give you an idea of how the patterns overlap and interact.

In the face of the looming (and fast disappearing) holiday shopping season, I finally got my brain and hands together and made some stuff. I worked a solid 12 hours a day (or more) on Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and about 5 hours on Friday getting stuff ready to blast, and then Friday afternoon/evening, most of Saturday and part of this Sunday in ( Read more... )

Here are the finished glasses. I sandblasted them this afternoon. All told, I put about 11-12 hours of work into them, including design time.

My father emailed me Wednesday night, asking if he could buy one of my glass pieces for my mom for her upcoming birthday (Jan. 13).
