I fell in love with the Russians during the Euros, and Roma was one of the players I started to really like. If I see someone writing fic with him now, my heart automatically gives an extra beat of pure joy. Even more important is the fact that you wrote them both very beautifully and realistically. I can just imagine this situation - the fear of being discovered and the attempts at making everything seem as "normal" as possible between them. Also, I loved the references to the other guys from the team, too - it made this even more realistic in my head.
Oh, and the last line? It's beautiful - especially because of the dual meaning!

They really have to kick asses during WC 2010 because there are so not enough (hardly any) fanfictions of Roma and Andrei.
As for the other guys - I was a bit desperate about their names, as I could only remember the surnames of most of the guys, so I just took my favourite ones (Akinfeev and Sychev) ;)
And your icon wins!

BUT. I really liked it, actually. I loved the taking advantage of a flight to be near each other, I thought that was so real and well done. At the same time, though, Andrei turning his head the other way. Nyagh. Very nice.

And your icon!! Aaaah!! Just yesterday I checked in the library whether this movie was available (it was not, duh)!
Thanks for the comment =)

Oh guh, I love that movie. So, so good and filled with so many attractive men. I hope it comes to the library soon, heh.
Anyway, I really liked this fic, and I hope to see more from you :)

Clearly, everyone's distracted by the sexy Spaniards. *huffs*
Anyway, this is really pretty and quiet, and in a way kind of heartbreaking. The crazy amount of homophobia in football is ignored in fic most of the time, but it's there alright. Coming out would probably equal the poor guy's career being over. It's interesting to see it addressed in fic.
Also, the last line? I am now melting. :)
Stupid question! Roma is actually a nickname for Roman? That's... kind of odd, it looks like it'd sound pretty much the same. Then again, I don't speak Russian. ^^;

I realized I could have made it a lot more angsty by not letting them join their hands but...well, who would have wanted that? xD
Yes, 'Róma' is a nickname for 'Román'. The stress is on the 'o' instead of the 'a'. Almost every Russian name has it's certain nicknames, for Roman these are 'Roma' and 'Romochka'(a very 'cute' and personal one). Of course one can always make up personal ones, but these just exist and are used instead of the full names. Between friends 'Roman' would sound to formal.
I actually thought about writing this in the note because I was afraid people would think I've simple forgotten the 'n' ^^

("Romochka"? XD no doubt I'm mispronouncing, but. Aww.)

*happy sigh* :D
I'm so glad someone is finally writing fic about these two, because they so deserve it. :)
*adds to memories*
Also, THANK YOU for what you wrote about Roman. I was so annoyed about how every damn commentator seemed to focus on Arshavin when Roman was on the pitch scoring goals for Russia.

They deserve some much more, like a hot and steaming sex scene in the airplane toilet for example, but...well, that's for others to write, I can't even produce a kiss scene without blushing >.<''
Thank you for your comment!
