Well, to be honest, it was the first place that offered me a job! I am certified to teach k-12, but now that I've been at the high school for a few years, I think this is age group I'm most comfortable with.

I'm able to teach them more complicated processes and they can discuss their work with more depth. However, what high schoolers have in skill and ability, they sometimes lack in confidence and creativity. I miss working with little kids where everyone has their own idea and isn't worried about what their neighbors work looks like. All my high schoolers just want to copy each other!
