Hey, I stumbled on this community a few days ago and I'm really excited to start posting here. There are a lot of talented people in here and I'm super excited to see what assignments pop up!

Why do you love art so much? It's just been something that I can calm my self down with. I'm not sure how much I actually express myself through art, because I rarely illustrate my feelings. Still, art's always been the one thing I could cling to and say, "Yeah, I'm kind of good at it." when I felt like I had no purpose.
What kind of art do you do? Not enough traditional, that's for sure. I'm a digital illustrator for the most part, but watercolors keep calling me to come and join the party.
Are you or have you ever been an art student? I was a student about a year ago, but I took a year off due to work. Hopefully I will return this fall!
What are you doing with your life, career wise? Nothing artistic, though I aspire to be a tattoo artist / freelance
What was the best art class you've ever taken? Drawing 1. It was just completely refreshing to actually learn something in class. Highschool art really killed me.
What was the best art assignment you've ever had? A pen and ink assignment were we had to draw a grid and then warp the lines. It's something I'd definitely do again.
What is your art inspiration? Pandora.com, my dog, various books.
Who/what are some of your favorite famous artists/works of art? (pictures/links welcome!) I'm a bit ashamed to say I can't name drop many artists, but I'm a big time browser of Juxtapoz.com (Too poor for the mag) and other similar websites, does that count for anything?
Show off some of your favorite pieces you've created: I haven't done anything I can really pick out as my favorite right now. Maybe a month ago I'd be able to, but right now I'm looking to create favorites. Here's my Deviantart anyway. ♥
