YOU DON'T LIKE LOVE ACTUALLY??

THAT IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE KARA.

COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

And you're right and wrong about people changing. People DO change, but the factors for and by which they change are totally beyond our control. So you're right that waiting for them to change is a complete waste of time, because you never know when or if they ever will. Sometimes the real change we should worry about isn't the change in others, but the change in ourselves that allows us to know when there isn't anything more we can do for a situation, and we just have to let it go. Then again, I don't know your situation, so that may not even apply here!

...seriously, though, but Love Actually is so GOOD! ;o;

oh people change all the time, just more often in bad ways than good ones, and rarely in the ways you want them to.

alternately, people stay exactly the same, but our perceptions/misperceptions of them change.

people evolve, but they don't "change."
