Thank you so much! I agree with you on the PTSD - it drove me nuts that the show didn't address Dean's issues as well as they could have. Oh well, I guess that's what fanfic is for, right?
I've never watched Criminal Minds, but this casefile fic is so well drawn, I don't feel the lack at all. Wonderful characters and terrific outside views. I loved watching the Feds go through their investigations, and also their outside POV of poor Dean - and Sam! (He was almost creepy, and yet Dean's love for him remains. *whimper*)
You've captured the prickly tension of Season 4 perfectly, and I loved the explosive denouement at the end, had NO idea who was shooting or getting shot! ACK!
Thank you!! I'm so happy that people seem to be getting into this fic despite being unfamiliar with Criminal Minds - I worried about that a lot during the writing.
I hate to admit it, but I think that the "explosive denouement" was probably the result of sheer delirium after pulling an all-nighter trying to finish this thing. I'd already asked for a deadline extension and was overcaffeinated and desperate, so that might have something to do with the fast pace!
Thanks again for the kind words - I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Man, this story is too awesome for words. They way you blended the two fandoms is just seemless, absoutely believable. I'd love to see that on TV, lol.
Thank you so much - I'm glad you liked it! I wouldn't mind seeing this mix on TV, either, obviously - although my head might explode from all the hotness!
Thank you so much! I'm kind of curious about how the CM folks would react to the apocalypse, myself - I don't have any solid plans for a sequel, but if I ever do write one, I might just head in that direction. :)
Thank you so much! I'm very happy both sets of characters worked for you; this was my first attempt at a crossover, so I was a little worried about that. Glad you enjoyed it!
