I totally had to retie my shoe slowly to figure out how I did it in the first place - when was the last time anyone really thought about it, you know? The hard part, though, was trying it a different way. My brain was just going, WTF!?!??
I don't know anything about the tongue. *scratches head* Hell, I didn't know this could be so complicated to begin with. Probably an answer out there somewhere, though - seems you can find anything on the internet! :)
Um, so...wait. How have YOU been tying your laces? Because I was expecting something revolutionary here and - believe it or not - I've been doing THIS right all my life.
Are you a double looper? Bunny-ear over bunny-ear or something?
Apparently I do the granny knot instead of the reef knot. Nothing too drastic - but good lord, it took me like ten minutes to get my fingers to circle the lace the opposite way from what I'm used to. It just felt so foreign.
Of course, it was getting late and I was tired, so it's entirely possible I found this more interesting than I should have. :)
I guess I do the "unstable" granny knot instead of the reef knot. *scratches head* I never even knew there was more than one way to tie a shoe! My entire worldview has been changed. ;)
