Help? (Pinging my photography friends)

To those of you who are into photography. Do any of you use the Sunpak UV filters? If so ... how the HELL do you get the case open? I can't get mine open. The lid does not appear to unscrew. It does not appear to just pop off. Right now, I feel like I'm playing with some new, devious Chinese finger trap.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with 'em, so I'm absolutely no help.

Filter Cases

I've had some older plastic cases that would stick together. The cover basically wedges onto the bottom. To open, you have to twist slightly, but it may take some effort, if it was put on too tight. I'd look for a thin crack, where the case fits together.
Might try a hair dryer on its lowest heat setting, to just warm the case a little.
