I don't own it yet, so I was listening to the rock opera Ludo did, called Broken Bride on youtube.  It has a somewhat weird and convoluted plot, focusing on a guy whose wife is killed in a car crash in 1989 (the broken bride of the title). He resolves to build a time machine to go back and keep her home, and succeeds in building the machine only to have it transport him too far back, and land him in the pre-historic period.  He manages to get it working again, only to be transported too far in the future, to the apocalypse, where zombies have risen and are attacking the people, led by a dragon.  He helps defeat the dragon and the king in charge, and in thanks for his selfless acts, some sort of omnicient being transports him back to the day in May in 1989 on which his wife died.

I had already sort of known the plot this far, and knew that at the end, he realized he couldn't save her, and had to make some sort of decision.  The decision he makes caught me entirely by surprise, and managed to make me weepy (not that it generally takes much, mind you...I'm a total sap).

While sort of odd at times, its a very good album, and I'll likely be ordering it off their website (along with the other one I don't yet own) within the next week or so.  Anyone interested I would suggest going to youtube and search Broken Bride by Ludo. There are 5 parts total, the second track being called Save Our City as a sort of interlude describing the goings on during the apocalypse...its also delightful.
