Everybody already said it and used up the words so I can only repeat, "Gorgeous". The prose flows like water but with a formality of phrasing that captures Tolkien's rather than your own is usually. It feels very right.
I'm so glad you like it! I love Elrond, and I'm trying to get a grip on who Elros is. A new star -- not just the star of Earendil, but the worlds to come.
