reason for joining: investigated the comm after it was mentioned by theopteryx and thought it was pretty awesome to have a place where you can get concrit and help from other arts kids. Im very quick to write off some pieces of work and will help having the views of others to see what i can change/spur me on.
bit about your art/fanart past: I've been drawing for as long as i can remember and away from the general art kid work, i doodle bandom stuff :]

reason for joining: I have a good sense of composition and would love to offer feedback on the works of fellow artists.
bit about your art/fanart past: I generally don't draw fanart, but I've been an avid consumer of it for the last seven years and learned to draw from Pokemon cards and manga. I draw weird shit with amputees and physical anomalies, and rarely use anything other than traditional media. For a short time I helped with and participated in the artlulz chats.

reason for joining: Honest constructive criticism is hard to come by and I could use a lot of help, and I think I'm getting at the stage where I finally have something useful to say to others
bit about your art/fanart past: Hrmm well I like fan art because I like the idea of illustrating stories. Right now I'm a little mono-fandom but things change. I've run a fanart group on dA before, though I don't have time for it now, and I've done a few exchanges as an artist.

reason for joining: I'd love a bit of support with trying to figure out the best ways to approach things, especially using Photoshop.
bit about your art/fanart past: I've always been creative. Started drawing properly (ie, keeping my drawings) at high school, copying manga, and now I have a design degree and I want to be an illustrator. In the mean time I do fanart cos it's fun =D
